The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton claims Conor Maynard has nonetheless not met their child daughter and admits she’s been left in tears as a consequence of new child ‘trying an identical’ to the singer

Charlotte Chilton has claimed Conor Maynard is still yet to meet their baby six-week-old daughter Peneople.

The Traitors star, 32, said she has tried to contact the singer, also 32, through his representatives following the tot’s birth as he has a ‘right to know’, but has not received a reply.

Charlotte revealed in June that the singer, whose sister is dating The Traitors winner Harry Clarke, was the father of her unborn child. She said he ghosted her after finding out she was pregnant and refused to acknowledge the baby.

Now speaking to OK! she revealed: ‘He knows [I’ve given birth] I’ve not heard anything, I had real torment over whether to contact him when she was here or not. And I figured I don’t want to speak to him, but he has a right to know. I knew if I didn’t reach out people would say I hadn’t bothered’.

Charlotte also spoke candidly about her post natal anxiety and the fact that Peneople looks just like her father.

‘There have been days where I’ve been in tears because I’m sitting here thinking, ‘I’ve got a daughter that looks f**king identical to you’.

She went on to discuss whether she wanted Conor to be part of her daughter’s life, stating: ‘If she wants to walk away from him, that’s fine, but she needs to make that decision for herself when she’s older, I’m not going to deny her contact if he decides he wants to see her.’

MailOnline have contacted Conor’s representatives for comment.

Charlotte also revealed thats she and ex-wife Laura Chilton, 33, was so supportive, after the pair initially had a war of words following the pregnancy being made public.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Charlotte shared a snap of her baby girl for the first time, writing: ‘Princess Penelope has arrived and we have been enjoying our ‘Penelope bubble’ so much,I am going to be off the radar for a little longer, whilst I enjoy these magical moments with my precious girl!!

‘Thank you to all that have checked in to make sure I am ok!!  My heart is full xx’

Charlotte revealed Conor was the father of her unborn ‘miracle’ baby, after she suffered seven miscarriages through IVF with her ex-wife. She also claimed the singer had been trying to ‘silence’ her.

Appearing on Loose Women in July, Charlotte claimed Conor was ‘ghosting’ her and when asked whether she’s in touch with him, replied: ‘I’m in touch – he’s not.’

Charlotte was then asked whether she wants him in her unborn child’s life. She said: ‘This is a tricky question. I’m always torn with what is best for her. With me and my mental health and the damage he’s done to me, no.

‘But I’m an adult and I have to put her first. I would like it for her at some point in her life. I don’t think there’s much point at this stage, but it has to be Penelope’s decision.’

She also revealed she has sold her house to move in with her mother as she ‘can’t do it on her own’.

The expectant mother has also previously slammed Traitors’ show winner and former co-star Harry Clark branding him a ‘fake friend’ following her pregnancy bombshell.

Charlotte claimed Harry, 23, ghosted her after she announced that his pal Conor had fathered her ‘miracle’ baby.

Harry is dating Conor’s younger sister Anna, and the two men have often attended events and been pictured together on social media, with Charlotte claiming the reality TV winner is the one who initially set the pair up.

Charlotte said how Harry abruptly stopped talking to her following the news before swiftly leaving The Traitors’ Whatsapp group – claiming he’d had everything he needed from his fellow co-stars before dumping them.

She told The Sun: ‘I was left thinking Harry’s decided that what Conor’s doing is appropriate – lads supporting lads.

‘There’s a part of me that just wants to block it out, because if I don’t, it’s gonna eat me up inside.’

She continued: ‘He never returns a message so you just kind of step away and just think, ‘well, this was obviously a fake friendship, you got what you wanted and now your screen is over’.’

Charlotte claimed that Harry had orchestrated their meet-up and ‘pressured’ her into attending the show’s wrap party because Conor wanted to meet her, eventually spending the whole night ‘pursuing’ her.

The party was thrown in honour of British Army Corporal and ‘Traitor’ Harry who shocked the nation when he snatched the £95,150 prize fund from the Faithfuls in a nailbiting finale.

Charlotte previously revealed to the The Sun that in her opinion Conor was a ‘narcissist and a ‘man-child’ and alleges he ‘pressured her into keeping his identity a secret’.

MailOnline contacted Conor’s representative for comment at the time.

Her estranged wife Laura previously claimed that they were still together when Charlotte slept with the singer in London . Laura and Charlotte had been together for seven years and endured a failed IVF attempt.

Laura, a telecommunications engineer, said she wanted to speak out after being left hurt by comments Charlotte had made about being in a previous ‘toxic’ relationship.

She said she also wanted to set the record straight about when their relationship ended.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Laura told us: ‘Charlotte has stated in interviews that she was single and had been single since the filming of Traitors which wasn’t the case at all. We were still in a relationship when she was filming the show.’
