Alec Baldwin’s neighbor makes wild declare about disgraced star as he is blasted for up to date anti-American rant
Alec Baldwin‘s neighbor made a wild claim about the disgraced star after he was slammed for branding Americans as ‘uninformed’ during a recent film festival.
When the 66-year-old ‘Rust’ actor received this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the Torino Film Festival in northern Italy, he called Americans ‘uneducated’ about the world’s most pressing issues.
‘Americans are very uninformed about reality – what’s really going on,’ he said during Monday’s press conference. ‘Americans have an appetite for a little bit of information.’
But his inflammatory, anti-American comments have enraged New Yorkers – including one of Baldwin’s neighbors, who told DailyMail.com that he has no place to be talking about what everyday Americans believe, especially with his ‘attitude’ problem.
Madeline Hill, 20, revealed that the actor is ‘rude’ and claimed he’s ‘uneducated’ himself.
She said: ‘I actually live across the street from Alec Baldwin. He’s been rude to me so many times. He is an uneducated man in himself. He’s not really seeing the heart of America.’
Another fuming Big Apple resident wondered why Baldwin – who fatally shot a cinematographer on the set of Rust in 2021 and walked away scot-free – is even talking about the rest of the country, when he has bigger problems to deal with.
Responding to the actor’s comments, the local said: ‘Why didn’t he get charged for [involuntary] manslaughter? I think that he’s definitely misinformed. He needs to come back to New York to get informed.’

Baldwin has stirred controversy over the years for his reckless and rude behavior with the public – calling a photographer a ‘c***sucking f****t’ to his face in 2013 outside his Greenwich Village home.
In 2016, he was caught in a foul-mouthed tirade at a photographer trying to take photos of him in a public place.
‘You’re a piece of trash,’ he yelled, along with several expletives. ‘Stay away from my wife.’ As the photographer tried to reason with the actor, Alec got in his face and yelled back at the top of his voice: ‘Shut up! You’re a piece of garbage!’
In 2018, he was arrested for punching a New Yorker who stole his parking spot in an expletive-filled outburst. He later pled guilty.
And in 2021, an umbrella-wielding Baldwin was filmed aggressively rushing towards a New York Post reporter who confronted him outside Woody Allen’s Manhattan townhouse.
Baldwin wasn’t the only one in hot water over his most recent rant.
Sharon Stone also made comments about the nation’s residents at the same film festival, appearing to compare Donald Trump to Italian dictator Benito Mussolini – noting that he was only elected because Americans lacked knowledge and don’t travel enough.
‘My country is in the midst of adolescence. Adolescence is very arrogant. Adolescence thinks it knows everything,’ she said. ‘Adolescence is naïve and ignorant and arrogant. And we are in our ignorant, arrogant adolescence.’

Other fuming Big Apple residents wondered why Baldwin – who fatally shot a cinematographer on the set of Rust in 2021 and walked away scot-free – is even talking about the rest of the country as a whole when he has bigger problems to deal with
‘We haven’t seen this before in our country,’ she added. ‘So Americans who don’t travel, who 80 percent don’t have a passport, who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naivete.’
But during interviews with DailyMail.com in Manhattan, most New Yorker’s were appalled by the star’s anti-American rants following Trump’s landslide victory over Kamala Harris.
However, a few Big Apple residents did agree with Baldwin and Stone.
‘Most of the population are – I hate to say it – dimwits,’ said one man. ‘I would say most people here are very uneducated,’ he added, glancing over his shoulders at passersby.
‘I think 70 percent of the Trump voters just jumped on the bandwagon.’
‘I think I can definitely agree with that,’ said 19-year-old Palo said.
‘In the sense that there’s definitely a cohort of Americans who definitely have a bit of ignorance about them and they don’t tend to focus on what the reality of the situation is like because they don’t want to deviate from this idea they have in their head.’
However most said celebrities have no right to talk about how ‘uninformed’ everyday Americans are – and instead should take a look at themselves in the mirror.

‘Celebrities are the ones that are unaware of reality,’ said 18-year-old Pamela. ‘Celebrities, of all people, have it easiest – they make easy money, they have easy jobs.’
Nahtara, 19, described Baldwin and Stone’s comments as ‘messed up’.
‘I’m sorry, the fact that you have the audacity to say something like that about the people – I’m assuming – aren’t even in the same class as you.’
‘It’s just a very strong opinion to have over a society that I feel like you’re already out of touch with,’ she added.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Alec Baldwin is facing a fresh effort to revive the criminal case against him related to the 2021 fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the movie set of Rust.
And, if successful, the actor could face the same 18 month prison sentence that the movie’s armorer was given.
Prosecutors in New Mexico have filed an appeal against the judge’s July decision to dismiss the involuntary manslaughter case.
The one-page notice that went public on Tuesday stated that prosecutors are appealing to the state’s Court of Appeals to reverse the ruling and restart the case.
While it will be months before a decision is made, the specter of Baldwin having to return to court in Santa Fe comes as he is finally attempting to put the 2021 Rust shooting behind him.
The film finally had its premiere at a film festival in Poland over the weekend and this week he was given a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Torino Film Festival in Italy.
The Rust trial was dismissed by the judge after two days when it became clear that prosecutors had not disclosed evidence about the source of the bullets to Baldwin’s lawyers.
In October, Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer rejected a request from prosecutors to restart the case.
But now prosecutors are trying to go over her head by appealing the decision.
Baldwin, 66, has always maintained his innocence over the fatal shooting of Hutchins on the set of Rust, an indie Western film.
