Baby boy is rushed to hospital with crucial accidents after being discovered unresponsive at dwelling – as man and lady are charged
A baby boy has been rushed to hospital with critical injuries after being found unresponsive at home.
Officers rushed to a property on Percy Road in Seacombe at around midday on Sunday following reports of concern for the youngster.
He was taken to hospital and is in a critical condition after a number of injuries were found on his body.
A man and woman have now been charged in relation to the incident, Merseyside police said.
Klevi Pirjani, 36, and Nivalda Santos Pirjani, 33, both of Percy Road, Seacombe have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and Section 18 wounding with intent.
They were remanded in custody and appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court today.
The pair have since been further remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on December 23.
