Woman final seen behind ambulance sporting scrubs vanishes on technique to see sister
A woman last seen in the back of an ambulance wearing scrubs while on the way to visit her sister has mysteriously disappeared. Joslyn Garrido, 40, came to New York City from Florida to see her family member but vanished on Monday after seemingly vanishing from the back of the ambulance.
Garrido was being transported from Weill Cornell Medical Center on Manhattan’s Upper East Side to White Plains Hospital. However, when the emergency vehicle stopped in traffic at around 12.30pm, Garrido jumped out and has been missing ever since.
New York Police Department said she was wearing a blue scrub top and grey jogging bottoms, and the force is now appealing for information on her whereabouts. It’s not clear why Garrido required medical assistance.

Police described her as a Hispanic female with brown hair, brown eyes, weighing 150lbs and standing 5ft6ins. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call NYPD’s Crimestoppers line on 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or, for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
It comes after a 30-year-old woman went mysteriously missing after landing in Los Angeles International Airport to get a connecting flight to New York more than two weeks ago. Hannah Kobayashi’s father Ryan Kobayashi flew out to Los Angeles last week in a desperate bid to find his daughter but was found dead by police on Sunday (November 24), who believed the man had taken his own life.
In the wake of Ryan’s tragic death, some far fetched conspiracy theories are abounding. Hannah’s aunt Laura Pidgeon spoke out, saying: “He broke. He died of a broken heart. We were tirelessly searching, and Ryan was a big, giant teddy bear. He’s sensitive. Imagine looking in places like Skid Row, picturing his daughter being sex trafficked, not getting sleep. He just broke.”

Hannah had flown from Maui to Los Angeles on November 8 and was meant to be getting a connecting flight to New York City for a “bucket-list” trip to see family. She and an ex-boyfriend had the same travel plans and were reportedly on the same plane.
Unfortunately Hannah never made her second flight and bizarre text messages sent from her phone in the coming days aroused suspicion from loved ones. One read: “Deep Hackers wiped my identity, stole all of my funds, & have had me on a mind f**k since Friday.” Read the full story here.
