Bloke to journey from Belgium to Barnsley to pay to get black eye from native girl

A man from Belgium wants to travel 400 miles to Barnsley – just so a local woman can punch him in the eye.

This is according to Sophie Larissa Weiss who is famously known in Yorkshire as the Barnsley Basher. She gets paid to beat up men by using her boxing, wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu moves.

Her clients consent to be roughed up and presumably get a kick (literally) out of a woman being able to dominate them on the mats. But one of Sophie’s fans has pledged to travel overseas for her unusual service.

Writing to Sophie after finding her profile on a wrestling site, he said: “I’d be interested in booking a session but first want to inquire about a specific request: do you do face punches as well? I’d love to take home a swollen black eye from our encounter.”

Daily Star favourite Sophie told us afterwards: “My reaction was pure laughter. I found it hilarious just imagining him going back home on the airplane with a massive shiner all smug and proud.

“But to be honest I wasn’t surprised at all as it’s not the first time, I actually had someone travel from Madrid for the same thing.”

Sophie is open to giving the eager beaver a wallop but claims to have not got round to negotiating a price yet. Although she usually charges £500 an hour.

The Barnsley babe used to be a glamour model but ditched the industry at 19 when her bodybuilding dad encouraged her to embrace fitness after suffering an eating disorder.

Her dad, Terry Weiss, is a world champion bodybuilder and he trains relentlessly in the gym with his daughter.

And after she overcame her health battles, the shredded pair recreated the same pose 25 years apart.

Sophie is close with her father and we asked how he reacted to the unusual proposal that came all the way from Belgium.

She said: “My dad just laughs at these requests – I think he finds it entertaining.”
