Details of Kate’s carol live performance revealed: William will be a part of his spouse for her first Together at Christmas service since her most cancers prognosis (and it is set to be a star-studded affair!)
The Princess of Wales‘s annual carol concert will include guest performances from Paloma Faith and Olivia Dean – as well as special appearances from Olympians and dancers from The Royal Ballet.
Her husband, Prince William will also be among those delivering ‘poignant readings linked to the theme of love and empathy’ during the service.
The Together At Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey will be held on Friday, December 6.
Other Royal Family members will join Kate Middleton, 42, at the revered event, which ‘provides a moment to reflect upon the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult times of our lives’.
The service will shine a light on individuals from all over the UK ‘who have shown love, kindness and empathy towards others in their communities’.
It will be her first one since publicly opening up about her cancer journey, and is set to combine both modern and traditional practices to bring people ‘from all faiths and none’ to come together for carols as well as performances from renowned musicians.
Olivia Dean, Gregory Porter, Paloma Faith and JP Cooper, are all in the line-up, and there will be a specially composed piece by pianist Rosey Chan.
Soloists from The Royal Ballet will also dazzle guests with a performance, along with students from The Royal Ballet School.

Paralympian sport stars Lizzi Jordan and Danni Khan will be lighting the candles along with Lindsey Burrow – whose husband Rob inspired millions across the country before he passed away earlier this year – and cyclist Sir Chris Hoy MBE.
Westminster Abbey is expected to welcome some 1,600 people who have in some way supported their communities.
Upon entrance, they will be treated to music from young performers, including a jazz rendition from Restore the Music, a charity that helps fund music education.
This year each guest will, along with their Order of Service, also be given a special letter from the Princess.
In it, she thanks each guest for their tireless contributions in uplifting the people around them all year round.
‘Across the United Kingdom, there are so many inspiring people embracing those in need,’ she penned in the earnest address.
”They have provided comfort, counsel, and connection, and above all else they have shown that love unites and strengthens us all.
