Tragic Brit, 20, dies on household vacation in Turkey after ‘falling down carry shaft’
Tragedy struck a young Brit who died on holiday in Turkey, who is believed to have taken a fatal fall down a lift shaft. Tyler Kerry, 20, was enjoying a trip with his girlfriend and family when the horrific incident occurred.
The labourer lost his life at a hotel in holiday hotspot Antalya. He is understood to have died at about 4am UK time. He died as he messaged family members about how much he had been enjoying his time abroad.
His uncle, Alex Price, said: “He was an energetic, exuberant young lad who was just settling into his life. He had a stable job, had just got himself a new car and was beginning to think about moving in with his girlfriend.”

A GoFundMe page has been set up to support Tyler’s family, amassing £3,310 of its £6,000 goal by Friday night.
On the fundraising page, Alex added: “He was completely devoted to his family and girlfriend Molly. We are all absolutely devastated.”
The family is now facing unexpected costs as they grapple with the tragedy, with Tyler’s mum Rachael caring for her two youngest boys and eager to travel to Turkey to repatriate her son. Tyler’s family suspects he may have risen early for a walk or food, and upon pressing the lift button, stepped into an empty shaft, reports the Mirror.
