If Mad Vlad waits till 2027 for WW3, Brits might spend it consuming G&T in snazzy bunker bar
World War III and the impending Armageddon that will follow may be well on its way with Mad Vlad hovering his finger over the big red button — but if he waits two more years, Brits could spend it chilling in a snazzy bunker bar under London.
The plans is to turn World War II’s 40 metre-deep Kingsway Exchange Tunnels into a subterranean showstopper, complete with a swanky bar and a museum. It has been approved by the London Borough of Camden, meaning it is well on its way to be a reality.
This comes as Brits up and down the country are forking out on luxury bunkers, fearing nuclear war is among us.

The development is set to cost a whopping quarter of a billion quid, but it is expected to bring in up to £85m a year, so it wouldn’t be too long before it makes its money back.
The bar better be well stocked, however, as you might want more than a couple glasses of wine if you’re planning on staying 40 metres under the city throughout the end of the world.
If all goes to plan, the tourist attraction will open its doors in 2027 and be named “The London Tunnels”.
