Beyonce wipes away tears in uncommon interview as she gushes about Blue Ivy simply at some point after Jay-Z is accused of raping lady, 13, with Diddy

Beyonce was seen wiping away tears as she gushed over how ‘proud’ she was of her daughter, Blue Ivy, in a new behind-the-scenes video.

The footage, which was pre-recorded for Good Morning America, aired just one day after Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z was named in a lawsuit alleging he raped a 13-year-old girl with Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs in 2000.

In the two-minute GMA video, Beyoncé, 43, and Blue, 12, are filmed in a recording studio as the youngster acted out her role of Kiara in the new upcoming Disney film Mufasa: The Lion King.

Dressed in a black T-shirt with her hair immaculately blow-dried, Blue sat next to her famous mom and said to the camera: ‘If I’d told my younger self that I was in a movie, I would never have believed myself.’

Beyoncé, who attended the film’s Los Angeles premiere with Blue and Jay-Z on Monday night, quickly butted in and told her eldest: ‘Well, you are girl! You are!’ before adding: ‘Seeing Blue as Kiara and hearing her voice come out of that character….’

Having to compose herself as her eyes filled with tears, the Crazy in Love hitmaker told the crew: ‘Just gimme a second, I’m still just… I can’t believe that’s my baby! That’s so amazing.’

Speaking to the camera again, Beyoncé continued: ‘It was really hard to focus and to do my job after that, so I was like, “Wait hold up guys, y’all gotta give me a second, I have to digest that,” I’m so proud of her.’

As Beyoncé and Blue continued their interview, they were interrupted by the singer’s seven-year-old daughter, Rumi, who came into shot and said: ‘Mommy,’ as she threw her arms around her.

‘Somebody wants to join!’ Beyoncé said, as Blue spoke about working on the upcoming film.

‘It’s just a really amazing experience and I feel like everybody that’s a part of this is so helpful and supportive,’ she said.

‘The director Barry [Jenkins] is a really sweet person and he tells me ways that I can improve in my lines and he’s very supportive of me and tells me in the nicest way possible, and I feel like so does everybody else.’

‘And I feel like this is just a great experience for me and I’m really happy for girls that look like me all around the world are able to watch this movie and hear and see themselves in it,’ Blue added.

Beyoncé added: ‘She did such a beautiful job and I can’t believe how natural she is,’ before turning to Blue and telling her: ‘I’m just proud of you, I’m so proud of you, and I can’t believe how big and grown up you are.’

The mother-of-three, who shares her children with rapper husband Jay-Z, 55, then said: ‘I’m proud that she’s gonna represent so many young, brown girls around the world, nobody’s prouder than mommy.’

Fans were quick to comment on the clip when it was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

‘OMG!! She’s pretty as her mother,’ one person wrote, while another said: ‘This was so beautiful to watch.’

A third person admitted: ‘I’m shedding tears like she is my baby. I’m so proud of you Blue.’

And a fourth claimed: ‘You can tell Beyoncé is teaching Blue Ivy what it’s like to have a great, strong work ethic. I love that for them.’

The footage comes after Beyoncé put on a united front with her husband of 16 years on Monday evening when they attended the Los Angeles premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King.

Their appearance came just hours after the rapper was named in a lawsuit alleging he raped a 13-year-old girl with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in 2000.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé were accompanied by their 12-year-old and the singer’s mother Tina Knowles, 70, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The family all put on a very public show of unity after the 99 Problems rapper issued a scorching denial to the claims and took aim at his accuser’s legal representation.

Jay-Z said in a response he issued to DailyMail.com Sunday that he was the victim of a ‘blackmail attempt’ and feared his three children with Beyoncé would have to ‘endure’ harassment in the wake of the shocking allegations.

He insisted he is especially worried about Blue Ivy and said he was afraid she would face questions from her friends about the lawsuit. The couple also share twins Rumi and Sir, seven.
