DWP checklist of 87 well being circumstances that might get you £737 without cost – see full checklist
The DWP has released a list of 87 health conditions, including arthritis and back pain, that could make you eligible for Personal Independence Payments (PIP)
If you’re grappling with a medical condition that impacts your joints, bones or muscles, you might be entitled to extra financial aid from the Government. Personal Independence Payments (PIP) are given to individuals with long-term health issues or disabilities that affect their ability to carry out daily tasks.
Regardless of employment status, savings or other benefits claims, you can qualify for PIP. For those eligible for both the daily living and mobility components, PIP can provide up to £737.20 every four weeks.
Conditions impacting the body’s movement and musculoskeletal system, including muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves could entitle you to payments. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has revealed that over 1.1 million people across Britain are receiving support through PIP for more than 85 musculoskeletal conditions.

If you are over 16 and under State Pension age, you may be able to claim PIP to help with a musculoskeletal condition, and if your ability to work is limited due to your symptoms you could be eligible for ‘new style’ Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
