Barron Trump is bonding with Elon Musk over transferring to Mars
Elon Musk‘s mother revealed that her son bonded with President-elect Donald Trump‘s youngest son, Barron, at the family’s Thanksgiving dinner at Mar-a-Lago.
The billionaire Tesla and SpaceX founder has become a regular fixture at the incoming president’s Florida compound, regularly appearing in photographs, including a notable spot in a Trump family portrait.
‘They do get along well. I think Trump just likes someone he can completely trust who doesn’t have any alternative motives,’ Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, told Fox Business’ Neil Cavuto on Thursday
On the Thanksgiving day, Elon was spotted sitting to alongside Donald and Barron.
Maye revealed that her son and Barron engaged in a deep conversation about interplanetary exploration.
‘At the Thanksgiving dinner, Barron and Elon were talking planets. [Barron’s] 18 years old,’ she said.
‘They were discussing all the different planets and why Mars is the best place to start a new civilization. And I was very impressed with him, too.
Days after the dinner, Elon said that he and Barron were discussing ‘consciousness & video games.’

Mama Musk told Cavuto that her son, who is worth $400 billion, wants ‘to do good things’ for America and that Trump has been ‘honest’ about his proposals.
‘I think Trump just wants everything to be honest and open so that you know where your tax dollars are going. He’s not going to be mean to people,’ she said.
‘When I see him, he just seems happy that he can make changes that will improve the [lives] of Americans… I think we’re all going to be happier.’
Talking about members of the Trump clan, Maye described them as ‘kind’ and said she wants to spend more time with incoming First Lady Melania Trump.
‘Everyone is delightful, kind, sweet, generous, interesting and soft-spoken, which is interesting because, as politicians, you can talk loud,’ she said.
‘And I’ve met Melania. I’m looking forward to spending more time with her, too.’
Her revelations come days after reports emerged that Elon is planning to buy property near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and has offered a record $100 million for sprawling penthouse.
According to Page Six, he is eyeing the property located on the shores of West Palm Beach, just a seven-minute drive from Mar-a-Lago.
The luxurious 19,000-square-foot apartment was owned by the late Sydell Miller, who was a self-made beauty tycoon behind brands such as Ardell and Matrix Essentials.
Miller bought the penthouse, comprised of two apartments, for a record-breaking $42.56 million in 2019.

The lavish home could be about to break another record after Elon – the world’s richest man – reportedly offered to buy the property for an eye-watering $100million.
Palmer Palm Beach, a local media outlet in the area, reported rumors that Miller’s family is ‘mulling an offer from Elon Musk to sell the late beauty mogul’s majestic 19,000sq penthouse.’
It added that if the offer is accepted, it would ‘break every West Palm Beach real estate record.’
Despite the rumored offer, Elon’s main base of operations in the US appears to be in Texas.
In July, he announced that he would be moving the headquarters of SpaceX and X, formerly Twitter, from California to the Lone Star State.
X will be moved from San Francisco to Austin, and SpaceX will be based at the company’s rocket launch site in south Texas rather than Hawthorne.
This comes after Musk already moved the headquarters of Tesla to Austin from Palo Alto in 2021.
