Leeds cheeseburger branded ‘an precise crime towards humanity’ as followers speechless
Leeds United might have been cooking on the pitch on Wednesday evening – but there was a little too much cooking in the kitchen, as proven by one fan’s cheeseburger
A cheeseburger purchased at Elland Road has been branded as a “crime against humanity”.
Leeds United have been flying high under Daniel Farke this season – and the Peacocks are currently second in the table. And while it’s going right on the pitch, the same can’t be said for in the kitchen.
And one lucky – or rather unlucky – fan has treated to quite the burger, as he watched his side beat Middlesbrough. Sharing the snap on social media, it drew reactions from football fans across the globe, but one summed it up more than most: “That’s an actual crime against humanity.”

“Yeah, no, that IS Leeds United. Cooked,” a second joked. While a third replied: “Another reason we can hate Leeds!”
“Oh boy. Lots to unpack here,” a fourth responded. And another added: “At least something is cooking at Elland Road!”
Farke’s side emerged 3-1 winners on the evening, briefly sending them top of the Championship as they eye a return to the Premier League. Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Farke said: “It’s not game over but if you are after 20 games 10 points ahead of a rival it is a good situation.
“I’m pleased but I’m sure Middlesbrough will finish in the top positions because they are a really, really good side. There are still so many games to come so we can’t allow to give one or two percent less. There are so many difficult games in the Championship.”
He added: “You see our spirit and how together they are and it’s a joy for our supporters to see that.
“I’m privileged to work in this football business and in this role. I wouldn’t label it as a I deserve it but I’m happy and delighted for the players that they can have some smiles on their faces and especially for our supporters and the key people at our club because I know how much it means to them.
“Hopefully we can keep on going and make them proud.”
