Emma Paton has pulled off wearing a full wedding dress as she hilariously agreed to marry a darts fan in a social media skit.
Paton is preparing for another year as Sky Sport’s anchor for their coverage of the darts World Championship, which kicks off this weekend and runs through Christmas.
Interest in darts is currently rife with the success of Luke Littler doing wonders for the sport, and he will be looking to topple defending champions and world No 1 Luke Humphries this time around having lost to him in the final last year.
And in the build-up to the tournament, Paddy Power have announced Paton as their brand ambassador, announcing her arrival with a hilarious video skit featuring Paton in a wedding dress.
She was seen wearing a full white gown in a number of clips, including her walking down the road, in character, angry as she left the fan’s door.
The fan, Anthony, is seen having Sunday dinner with his wife and mother in law as he discusses a night at the darts, playing down the drunken antics of the crowd.

Through a series of flashbacks, Anthony claims he had ‘one or two’ drinks as fans see him getting more and more carried away, before Paton bursts through the front door in her dress, holding a bouquet.
She reveals that Anthony proposed to her the night before, with Anthony’s wife furious. Paton then demands to know if the proposal meant anything, before the advert flashes back to the arena again.
Anthony is seen holding a sign that says ‘Emma, will u marry me?’, with Paton, while working, is distracted by the sign, turns to Anthony and says: ‘Yes, I do.’
Anthony tries to downplay the situation, suggesting he could set Emma up with a friend, but Emma storms out. She tosses the bouquet and leaves still in her wedding dress before the Paddy Power closing message urges fans to ‘think before they write this Christmas’.
Paddy Power said of Paton’s appointment as ambassador: ‘Emma is one of the best presenters in the business – and it turns out she’s the real deal when it comes to acting too. Hollywood beckons!
