EuroMillions winner scoops £58m and treats mates to Dubai vacation in £10k penthouses
Ryan Hoyle, 38, took seven friends to the Five Jumeirah Village Hotel, splashing out on two top-floor penthouses for £10,000 each, before hitting the beach and the bar
A EuroMillions winner from the UK has really spread the joy, whisking his mates off to a swanky holiday in Dubai after scooping a stonking £58 million prize. Carpentry king Ryan Hoyle, 38, treated seven of his pals to the trip of a lifetime by booking two plushed-up penthouses for a cool £10,000 each at the luxurious Five Jumeirah Village Hotel.
The lad from Rochdale, famously a man of simple pleasures – only ever jetting off twice for lads’ holidays in Magaluf and Benidorm – won the life-changing sum in April 2020 but was hampered by Covid restrictions in throwing a proper bash.
After being set free from lockdown shackles in 2021 he made sure his good fortune was well toasted alongside his oldest buddies with first-class tickets, ritzy five-star digs and popping bubbly worth an eye-watering £1,700 a bottle over the festive season. They even hit up the infamous Zero Gravity beach club, recently graced by none other than pop sensation Justin Bieber.

Chatting with The Sun, Ryan admitted: “Covid’s made things tough for everyone so it was great to be able to get away and have a party. “I’ve known all the lads for around 20 years and wanted to treat them to a trip they’d never forget.”
And you’d better believe the camaraderie runs deep, as pal Peter Garry, in Ryan’s squad for decades, gushed: “He’s the best friend anyone could have.

“There’s never been anything flash about him and the win hasn’t changed him a bit, he’s still the same great guy.”
Peter cracked a joke about how the only bone of contention between them was footie, he’s a Burnley supporter while his mate Ryan cheers on Man Utd. He continued: “We never in our wildest dreams expected him to be so generous and have all had literally the best week of our lives.”
Clubbing nights for the lads involved popping bottles of posh Ciroc vodka, tagged at £1,700 each, and mingling with swarms of lovely ladies.
The gang initially jetted off economy via Emirates as it was all they could snag, but fate had them flying home first-class, splurging £6,000 per person.
Peter summed it up: “It was the perfect end to the perfect week.”
After bagging a massive £58,366,487, sources blabbed that Ryan got bombarded with saucy offers from mystery women eyeing more than just his winning smile. His letterbox was stuffed, not just with randy propositions but also pleas for a slice of his jackpot.
Our insider revealed: “Ryan knew the letters asking for cash would start arriving pretty soon after news of his win broke. He’s a little more surprised at the offers of relationships from women and some are pretty graphic. But he’s a level-headed guy and he’s not going to have his head turned by Sandra from Swindon.”
