Unearthed 1999 photograph of Diddy with Kate Moss has the web buzzing
An unearthed photo of Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs clutching what appears to be a pill next to model Kate Moss‘s shoulder has sparked widespread discussion online.
The alarming picture, from top talent agent Paul Rowland’s 40th birthday party in New York City in 1999, shows Moss seemingly unaware the small white object is being held close to her by the disgraced rapper.
Diddy – who is now facing decades in prison on sickening sex crime charges – grabbed Moss’s neck in the image, taken at Victor’s Cafe, a Cuban restaurant and nightclub in Midtown Manhattan.
Later that same night, another image from the dancefloor showed Moss dancing and gyrating with other revelers.
The image has circulated social media several times since Combs was arrested in New York in September.
There is no suggestion Kate was ever aware of any of Diddy’s alleged wrongdoing.
At the time of the 1999 photo, Moss had just broken up with actor Johnny Depp. She has long been rumored to have used drugs during her formative years and even appeared to crack a joke about taking cocaine during a 2022 event.
The iconic model, 50, has since said she has given up partying for a healthy lifestyle.
Diddy has remained behind bars since his arrest three months ago, charged with sex trafficking and racketeering following allegations including drugging and raping women. He denies the allegations against him.

At the time, Moss was fresh off her breakup with actor Johny Depp, pictured together in 1995
Moss has previously made light of her hard partying days, where she was a tabloid favorite for years and was often photographed with celebrities such as Diddy.
In 2022, Moss poked fun at her past reputation when she partnered up with Diet Coke, as she told an audience member at a promotion: ‘Well, I have always loved coke.’
Kate spent years in the spotlight as part of the louche fashion world, and most infamously was photographed next to lines of white powder in 2005, leading to headlines branding her ‘Cocaine Kate.’
Following the scandal, Kate was dropped by seven companies including Chanel, Burberry and H&M, and worked for years to restore her public image.
The year before her image with Diddy in New York City, Moss also checked herself into London’s celebrity-friendly rehab center The Priory, as she reportedly struggled to accept her breakup with Depp.
In recent years before his arrest, Diddy claimed he spent ‘surreal’ nights with Moss in Paris.
‘Sometimes I’ll be in the studio until 3am – or I’ll be out in Paris at the fashion shows and, you know, just hanging out until morning with Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. Those times are always surreal,’ he told to Into The Gloss in 2015.
‘I remember a time – I had just done a photoshoot for Vogue, and afterward Kate, Naomi, and I just went out and did something a little touristy and cliché.
‘We went and had champagne at the Eiffel Tower… someone had brought music, and we had a little party up there, just the three of us.’
Kate Moss’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs faces decades in prison after being charged with attacking victims over a number of years, with three accusing him of drugging and raping them in shocking new lawsuits this week
The shocking allegations against Combs captured headlines again this week as an amendment to a lawsuit filed in October named mogul and rapper Jay-Z.
According to the lawsuit, Diddy and Jay-Z – real name Shawn Carter – raped a 13-year-old girl in 2000 at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty. Both men deny the claims against them.
Jay-Z issued a blistering response claiming he is the victim of a ‘blackmail attempt’ from attorney Tony Buzbee, who has launched a string of lawsuits against Diddy and has teased more involving A-list celebrities.
And in a separate claim filed in New York state’s Supreme Court by lawyer Thomas Giuffra, it was alleged that a male victim woke up after being drugged to find Combs sexually assaulting him.
When the victim woke up, the rapper allegedly told him ‘I’m almost done.’
The claim formed new allegations that Combs drugged and raped three men between 2019 and 2022, with another man claiming his attack was filmed and he was given $2,500 after.
The third man claims Combs and his associates ‘from Bad Boy Records’ took turns sexually assaulting him at a party in the Hamptons.
Rap legend Jay-Z was named in a new lawsuit alleging he and Diddy (pictured together in 2008) raped a 13-year-old girl in 2000. Both men deny the allegations
Guiffra alleged in his filing: ‘(Combs) ‘has a profound contempt for men and women and an ongoing practice of denigrating, drugging, blackmailing, and humiliating them.’
‘Combs is a rich, powerful public figure who was able to take advantage by drugging these men.
‘After the assaults, he ensured their silence by threatening them and relying on their fear of his power,’ he said.
‘This is a long overdue opportunity for the victims to take the power back after carrying the burden of the assaults in silence for several years.’
In response, Combs’ representatives said: ‘These complaints are full of lies. We will prove them false and seek sanctions against every unethical lawyer who filed fictional claims against him.’
