The National Lottery operator Allwyn has confirmed it has paid £177,033,699.20 out to the lucky person who has become the third biggest EuroMillions winner of all time in the UK
A lucky UK punter has hit the jackpot, scooping a colossal £177million EuroMillions prize. This makes the fortunate Brit the nation’s third-largest National Lottery winner of all time.
The identity of the jackpot winner has chosen to keep their identity a secret after they nabbed the massive payout following Tuesday, November 26, draw. On Tuesday, Allwyn, the National Lottery operator, forked out an eye-watering £177,033,699.20 to this very lucky individual.
This new multimillionaire now finds themselves richer than showbiz hotshots like Dua Lipa, worth an estimated £104million, and Michael Buble, who has around £63million to his name.

Andy Carter, who doles out advice to winners for Allwyn, couldn’t contain his excitement, saying: “We’re absolutely over the moon that this life-changing EuroMillions jackpot prize has been paid.”
With Christmas just around the corner, Carter imagines this winner could be dreaming up ways to splash the cash for an unforgettable festive season from chasing rays of winter sunshine to jetting off on a yuletide shopping spree in the Big Apple, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Carter adds: “Whatever this winner decides to do with their winnings, our focus is now on supporting the ticket-holder through the process so they can start enjoying their win as soon as possible.”
On record, the biggest EuroMillions windfall a UK ticket-holder bagged was a staggering £195million on July 19, 2022. The latest winner’s fortune falls just shy of Joe and Jess Thwaite’s haul a whopping £184,262,899 from a Lucky Dip ticket on the draw dated May 10, 2022.
Not all EuroMillions winners are excited to have one a life changing amount of money. Neil Trotter, a former mechanic who bagged a colossal £107.9million EuroMillions jackpot after “predicting it” is now finding his millionaire lifestyle to be a bit of a bore-fest.
Despite being warned by the Camelot Group to take it easy with his newfound wealth, Neil splurged immediately and now admits to a yawn-inducing reality of leisure. He said: “Going from having to work to not having to work any more was quite a strange thing to adjust to. I soon found out that sitting at home watching telly all day was quite boring.”
