Tyson Fury’s has been keeping his nutrition in check as the Gypsy King eats 6,000 calories a day in preparation for his heavyweight clash with Oleksandr Usyk.

5 large eggs, 200g of spinach, four slices of turkey bacon, 300g of roasted potatoes and 1 avocado. This is the kind of food you can expect the Gypsy King to be digging into if you were to ever have breakfast with the British fighter.

The 36-year-old has been preparing for his long-awaited rematch with Usyk who had got the better of Fury in May when he won via split-decision. Now, the Gypsy King will be looking to take his opponents WBC, WBO and WBA heavyweight titles.

Now only does this require a strict training regime, but Fury’s diet is also meticulously curated to get him feeling as good as he can ahead of the fight. Net World Sports has taken a look at the six foot nine fighters food plan as he approaches the clash on Saturday (December 21).

To first achieve the diet of Fury, you must be able to afford it. The Brit spends around £1,364 on food a month. This equates to over £16k a year.

Secondly, and most importantly, you must be able to stomach the massive food intake.

This includes 638g of carbs everyday with a big portion of this coming from 17 daily jacket potatoes. For heavyweight fighters, fats are essential for their weight which is why Fury eats 11 avocados everyday.

The Gypsy King eats his 6,000 calorie diet across five meals: breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, afternoon meal and an evening snack. His mid-morning snack alone equates to over 1,000 calories – more than just a packet of crisps.
