The surprising second Jorginho’s fiancée Catherine Harding ‘confronts girl over the Arsenal footballer in late night time doorstep showdown’

Jorginho’s fiancée Catherine Harding has reportedly confronted a woman in a late night doorstep showdown over the footballer.

Singer Catherine, who previously dated and shares a child with actor Jude Law, is said to have turned up at the £3million London home of Vanessa Sandora and demanded to know her history with the Arsenal player.

In a video obtained by The Sun, which was captured on Vanessa’s Ring doorbell, Catherine, 34, is seen outside the property after turning up unannounced at 11.30pm.

Speaking to the publication about the altercation, beautician Vanessa, 39, told how she initially felt ‘terrified’ after hearing someone bang on her that late at night.

It’s reported that Catherine – who appeared on the 2020 edition of The Voice UK under the name Cat Cavelli – revealed herself to be the fiancée of Jorginho and asked to be let inside.

She said: ‘I was terrified about who was knocking on my door unannounced so late at night. I used my Ring doorbell to see it was a woman I did not know. She said via the intercom, “I’m Jorginho’s fiancée, can you let me in?”.

The Sun reports that Vanessa had met the Brazilian midfielder, 33, ‘three times’ which occurred several years ago, with one encounter being at an Italian restaurant, Stecca, in West London. 

Vanessa detailed how she had began receiving phone calls earlier this month from an unknown number, which she later discovered to have been Catherine who then ‘drove across’ when her calls went unanswered. 

Vanessa said: ‘She had got my address and phone number from an ex of mine who had contacted her. I did let her in and we had a frank chat, woman-to-woman. I felt she deserved the facts, so I gave them to her.’

The beautician told how she had informed Catherine of her past meet-ups with Jorginho, before adding that he’s ‘not really my type’ and that she was left ‘unfazed’ by their meetings as she was not ‘into football’.

The publication reports that Vanessa deleted the sportsman from her social media in 2022, with Vanessa noting that she ‘thought that was the end of it’ until the recent confrontation. 

It is claimed that Vanessa’s ex-boyfriend was the one who contacted Catherine to tell her of the pair’s past meetings in order to ’cause trouble’.

Insisting that she had no intention of getting involved with the footballer, Vanessa added: ‘I’m not a floozy. I told her I’m not interested in her bloke. But since then she’s been messaging me and won’t let it lie. She needs to move on and leave me out of her life.’

Jorginho and Catherine became engaged last year after the Arsenal star popped the question with a romantic proposal.

The Arsenal footballer got down on one knee for the singer surrounded by red roses and candles, while being serenaded by a violinist.

The couple are believed to have got together in 2020 and share a son named Jax, four. 

Cat shared a slew of snaps from the sweet moment to her Instagram and captioned them: ‘My love’ with an infinity symbol and diamond ring emoji. 

She also posted a video of the proposal which captured the moment that Jorginho surprised her, set to John Legend‘s Never Break.

She captioned the sweet clip: ‘The next chapter in our story.’

The Arsenal midfielder – whose full name is Jorge Luiz Frello Filho Cavaliere OMRI – is thought to have been dating Cat since 2020.

Cat has a daughter named Ada, nine, with her ex Jude Law as well as Jax with Jorginho. 

The Arsenal player co-parents two children, Vitor and Alicia, with his estranged wife Natalia Leteri.

The couple were together for eight years and married in 2017, before secretly separating in 2019.

Cat dated Hollywood star Jude when she was 23 and he was 41, while he was filming in the Czech Republic.

They had already split when they announced her pregnancy, and their daughter Ada is the actor’s fifth child.

The Irish-born musician Cat was mentored by Olly Murs on the hit BBC show as she reached the knockouts round – but failed to win.
