Justin Baldoni’s porn obsession revealed in unearthed interview amid Blake Lively lawsuit

Justin Baldoni admitted to having what he described as an ‘unhealthy’ relationship with porn in an unearthed interview.

The resurfaced comment comes amid 37-year-old Blake Lively‘s damning bombshell lawsuit against the 40-year-old actor, with whom she starred in the summer blockbuster It Ends With Us.

‘I was introduced to porn when I was 10-years-old,’ he said on a July 2021 episode of Sarah Grynberg’s podcast, A Life of Greatness.

He added that his first encounter with adult content was ‘long before’ he ‘could have an erection or even knew how I felt about anything.’

‘It was, you know, like any young boy who sees boobs for the first time — it’s exciting because our culture has shielded them from us because they’re sexualized. It’s cultural,’ Justin explained at the time.

‘You go to places like Africa and different tribes… and the breast is the breast. We’ve sexualized this thing, so, of course, it becomes fascinating and interesting and you’re like, “Oh my God, boobs.” And then, you know, hormones start raging,’ the Jane the Virgin star said.

Baldoni went on to reveal that he ‘sought refuge’ with porn when he felt alone, abandoned or hurt and because it was a ‘dopamine rush.’

‘I trained my brain to deal with pain with the dopamine hit. But it doesn’t mean that I’m not using something in an unhealthy way,’ the Man Enough: Undefining My Masculinity author reflected.

He opened up, ‘I found myself, over the course of my life, going back to looking at images and videos of naked women when I was feeling necessarily bad about myself.

‘And I knew that it was an issue for me when I would tell myself that I don’t want to do that,’ he added.

In the aforementioned lawsuit, Lively alleges that Baldoni showed her explicit videos and photos of other women, openly discussed his struggles with pornography, and made inappropriate remarks about her appearance.

The film adaptation of It Ends With Us tells the story of Lily Bloom (Lively), a woman confronting the trauma of domestic abuse inflicted by her husband, Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni).

The film is based on Colleen Hoover’s book of the same name, which was inspired by her mother’s experience with domestic violence during her marriage to the author’s father.

Earlier reports included allegations that Baldoni showed Lively nude videos and images of other women, discussed his porn addiction and made inappropriate remarks about her weight, her late father, and other members of the cast and crew.

Recently revealed details in the lawsuit allege even more egregious behavior, with court documents obtained by People claiming Baldoni ‘improvised physical intimacy’ during a scene without prior discussion or choreography.

One incident reportedly involved Baldoni ‘discreetly biting and sucking on Ms. Lively’s lower lip’ during multiple takes, allegedly insisting on reshooting the scene repeatedly despite Lively’s clear discomfort.

The lawsuit alleges Baldoni made sexual inquiries, including asking Lively if she and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, experienced simultaneous climaxes — a question she found intrusive and refused to answer.
