Ghost hunters declare demon spoke to them whereas filming in spooky graveyard
Two keen ghost hunters received a shock when they reviewed footage filmed in a graveyard full of supposed witch hunters from the 17th century and heard something ‘demonic’ over the top
A pair of ghost hunters claim an evil spirit spoke to them while they filmed in a spooky graveyard – and they caught it on camera.
Marquis HK, 56, and his ghost-hunter friend Mark Dann, were watching a video they recorded for their podcast when they claim they heard a low gravelly voice say “you”. They had asked the spirits if they remembered them from a previous visit to the site in Struy in the Highlands of Scotland – when it shouted back “you”. They visited the graveyard because the Chisholm clan who are buried there persecuted the MaClean family as witches in the 17th century.
Marquis, a shop worker and author from Loch Ness said: “We couldn’t believe it when we heard the voice. We were so shocked, but there’s no other explanation for it. I guess it must have remembered us. It’s a very isolated place with a very creepy atmosphere. This voice really surprised us: we don’t know if it’s saying: ”you’ we recognise you’, or, ”you’ what are you doing here?’
“It kind of frightens me but I’m more happy that we’ve actually got results. When we heard it Mark’s hair stood on end. When we recorded it I was stood with my back to an old oak tree. It’s like the sound came from the tomb stones and was directed right at me.”
The men, from Loch Ness, didn’t hear the voice when they were in the location, on December 10, but heard it clearly when they were watching the video back. They added that their ghost-hunting kit detected a lot of paranormal activity that night.
The dowsing rod was spinning madly, they claim and the temperature in one spot kept jumping suddenly up and down three degrees, according to Mark.
He and extreme-sports-trainer Mark Dann, put out their Extreme Ghost Hunters podcast every two weeks from spooky locations. They use simple equipment such as dowsing rods, a temperature gage and a compass to find spooks.
This season they’re revisiting spooky places in the dark that they filmed in the summer previously. Mark HK said: “We use primitive equipment because modern technology can easily be misinterpreted: it can pick up all sorts of stuff that can be mistaken for paranormal activity.”
