25 new vehicles coming in 2025 PART 2: Second of our A-Z lists consists of newcomers from Ferrari, BMW and Lamborghini
- Part 2 covers 13 models in total, including plenty of supercars; check out part 1 for the first 12 of our 25 picks
As 2024 draws to a close, This is Money has picked its 25 favourite new cars set to arrive in UK showrooms over the course of the next 12 months.
We’ve already featured the first 12 models in part one of our A-to-Z preview of brands, which covered new motors from Range Rover to Renault.
Now we’re on to part two where we look at the next 13 vehicles due to be on sale in Britain.
Part one had a wash of budget-friendly cars, especially EVs. Part two, on the other hand, has its fair share of the opposite: ultra-luxury high performance cars with price tags to match.
Lamborghini to Ferrari and French sports car maker Alpine, 2025 is set to be a year of very exciting new launches. And a year where supercar makers bring out much-anticipated electric models.
So let’s take a look at the second half of cars coming to the UK in the New Year.
13. Lamborghini Temerario
Estimated price: £300,000
Lamborghini is electrifying every model in its line up as the supercar brand moves with the times
The Temerario is already being called the ‘most exciting supercar launch of 2025’ and the Huracan replacement has big boots to fill.
It will slot into the Lamborghini lineup below the flagship Revuelto and come with 920hp, a top speed of 211mph and will be able to do 0-to-62mph in 2.7 seconds.
Instead of the naturally aspirated V10 that has powered its junior supercars for decades, the Temerario will debut an all-new plug-in hybrid drivetrain featuring a turbocharged V8 and three electric motors.
14. Kia EV4
Estimated price: £23,000 – £32,000
The Kia EV4 will follow the Kia EV3 and drivers are set to receive the crossover SUV in 2025
It’s been seen out testing which means the Kia EV4 is on it’s way to a showroom near you.
The electric hatchback will start deliveries this coming year. It seems drivers will have a choice between a sedan and hatchback body shapes if pictures and reports are true.
Estimates based on the nearly-released EV3 crossover predict the EV4 will have between 300 and 400 miles of range and will likely cost between anything from £23,000 to £32,000.
15. Ferrari 12Cilinidri
Price: From £336,500
Ferrari’s surprise open-top version of the Cilindri is more expensive than the hard-top – costing from around £372,000
Bringing luxury and supercar power to 2025 is the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider.
It’ll have the same features and looks as the hard top version including the non-supercharged 6.5-litre V12 and proportions reminiscent of the old 365 GTB from 1967.
Such looks and power won’t come cheap though with the Spider costing £336,500.
16. Ferrari Electric
Estimated price: £385,000
The second Ferrari on the list is the long-awaited electric Ferrari.
The prancing horse brand is yet to enter the world of EVs, so this electric Ferrari is a big moment for the manufacturer from Maranello.
It’s expected to perform like a Rossa but look like a Purosangue.
And it’s set to come with a eye-watering price tag of £385,000.
17. Citroen C5 Aircross
Estimated price: £35,000 – £40,000
The Citroen C5 Aircross will be properly revealed next year but it’s set to be a long range mid-sized SUV
The all-new Citroen C5 Aircross will be revealed next year in all-electric and hybrid forms.
The mid-sized SUV will have boxy rear and large rear doors to maximise interior space, and is likely to have a new interior based on the recently-updated Peugeot 3008’s set up.
Tope end range predictions are set at 400 miles on a single charge and it’s likely to cost between £35,000 and £40,000.
18. Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio
Estimated price: Just under £80,000
The new Alfa Romeo Guilia QF is the most exciting new model coming in the next few years, but it will come after a trio of Alfa SUVs.
It’s suggested the Guilia QF will come late 2025 (maybe 2026) and will come with a full electric powertrain.
It’s also rumoured to come with 500hp – which is some instant acceleration to look forward to.
19. BMW M5 Touring
Estimated price: £112,500
The new BMW M5 Touring will be family-estate car dreams when it arrives early 2025 with a 4.4L V8
The BMW M5 Touring is the third generation of the M5 Touring and is part of the seventh generation of the M5.
As well as looking as good as ever, the new Touring will be the first hybrid M5 and come with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 and electric motor.
Stats include 0-to-62mph in 3.6 seconds and a limited 155mph top speed and a price tag of at least £112,500.
There’s also an practical 500-litre boot. Deliveries to UK buyers are set to arrive early 2025.
20. Porsche 718
Estimated price: From around £60,000
The new Porsche 718 is on set to be revealed this coming year.
First announced in 2022, it’s based on the 2021 Mission R Concept.
First testing shots show the electric car looks similar to the 718 combustion models but will bring styling features (especially lights) from the electric Porsches.
It’s been confirmed that the 718 EV won’t come with one-pedal drive (the popular EV driving feature) unlike the Taycan and Macan because Porsche development boss Michael Steiner says one-pedal drive means you ‘don’t have the right feeling on the pedal, you don’t have trust in the stability of the car’.
21. Jeep Recon 4×4
Estimated price: £44,000
The all-electric Jeep Recon is set to be a proper hardcore off-roader with excellent range when it arrives
The new pure-electric Jeep Recon will launch in 2025 and is inspired by the Jeep Wrangler.
The EV is designed for ‘adventurers looking for a rugged and capable fully electric SUV’.
It seems pretty hardcore as electric off-roaders go with removable doors, some hefty proportions and roof rack and 373-mile range.
22. Volkswagen Tayron
Estimated price: £40,000
Volkswagen Tayron – the seven-seater family-friendly SUV – is set to arrive in March 2025
The new Volkswagen Tayron is a large seven-seater that’ll go head to head with the Hyundai Santa Fe.
It’ll have similar styling to the new Tiguan and the same engines when it arrives next year but much more interior space.
Prices are yet to be confirmed but it’s expected to be a bit more than the Skoda Kodiaq (which it shares a platform with) so you’re looking at probably around £40,000 to start.
23. Audi A6 E-tron
Estimated price: From £69,000
The Audi A6 will be available in Sportback or Avant variants when it arrives next year
First customer deliveries of the Audi A6 E-Tron will arrive in February 2025.
With a new 100Kwh battery the A6 E-Tron will come with class-leading 466 miles of range or 447 in the Avant.
Ultra-rapid charging at 270kW gives you up to 192 miles of range in 10 minutes.
Acceleration from 0-to-62mph takes only 5.4 seconds and it boasts a top speed of 130mph. The new A6 will be available in Sportback or Avant variants.
24. MG ES5
Estimated price: Sub-£30,000
MG’s latest bargain car will be the (as it is currently named in China) ES5 SUV
MG unveiled its new fully electric SUV in China earlier this year.
Called the ES5 in China, the will-be-named-something-else-in-the-UK car will rival the Skoa Elroq, Kia EV3 and Hyundai Kona Electric.
The unveiled interior shows a minimalist design and much more progressive than any previous MGs.
There’s no pricing yet but knowing MG’s ability to bring out value for money it will be a budget car with a sub-£30k price point.
25. Alpine A390
Price: TBC
Alpine is bringing out its first electric SUV ‘sport fastback’ based on the A390B concept
Alpine’s latest concept car reveals a four-door coupe with some seriously sporty looks.
The production car will be revealed next year and if it’s in-keeping with the A390B concept then you can expect the brand’s first electric SUV ‘sport fastback’ to take the brand in a very different direction.
It’ll have three electric motors and some bold racer-inspired interior features including F1-style bucket seats.
We wait to see what the 2025 production model will reveal in the New Year.
