Incredible second man pushed in entrance of subway is pulled from beneath prepare: ‘He’s alive!’

Shocking footage captured the moment a man was rescued from underneath a New York City subway after being pushed onto the tracks.

Video shared by stunned passengers showed around a dozen firefighters working to pull the man from the subway on 18th street in the West Village, Manhattan.

The man appeared to have blood on his face when he was saved from under the train, and authorities said he was left in critical condition.

A woman filming the encounter could be heard expressing her relief after the victim was helped onto the platform.

‘He’s alive!’ she said, before turning to other passengers and repeating: ‘He’s alive.’

Cops said the subway shover did not appear to know the victim, and described it as a random attack.

The suspect was described as a man with light complexion wearing a mask, black jacket, black hoodie and grey jeans. He reportedly fled the scene and is being sought by cops.

The subway platform was evacuated and the NYPD closed the scene as they investigate the incident.
