Instagram influencer at centre of jewel heist as £10million price stolen from residence
Much of her online content showed her in glamourous locations around the world, away from Primrose Hill where detached house prices averaged around £12million last year according to Rightmove
The victim of one of the largest burglaries in British history has been named. Minted influencer Shafira Huang, who regularly showcases her wealth on her social media accounts, fell victim to a massive £10million burglary at her house in Primrose Hill, Camden, in London earlier this month on December 7.
Thieves helped themselves to her Hermes Crocodile Kelly handbags as well as £15,000 in cash and £10.4million worth of bespoke jewellery, according to MailOnline. The art collector and cultural ambassador of the Halcyon Gallery on Bond Street is understood to have not been at the residence in one of the capital’s most desirable neighbourhoods at the time the crime was committed.

The influencer, whose Instagram account is currently set to private, is reported by LBC to now be offering a £1.5million reward for helping catch the person or people who stole from her.
Among her social media exploits are yacht trips around Hong Kong, trips in private jets with designer luggage, holidays in exquisite places and stunning ski trips. At the time of writing, it is not known if the burglary was random or targeted – although some items said to have been stolen are reported by the Mail to match those flaunted online. The outlet reports that among the items taken are a Graff 10.73-carat diamond ring, two De Beers butterfly diamond rings, a Hermes 3.03-carat ring, aquamarine ring and Niloticud Lumiere necklace.
Her social media exploits have also shown the collector posing for a selfie with Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.
A suspect has been described as a medium build white man in his late 20s to 30s, who made efforts to cover his face and was wearing a dark hoodie, cargo trousers and a grey baseball cap
Detective Constable Paulo Roberts said: “This is a brazen offence where the suspect has entered the property while armed with an unknown weapon and violated the sanctuary of the victims’ home.
“The suspect has stolen £10.4 million worth of jewellery, much of which is sentimental and unique in its design, and therefore easily identifiable. We urge anyone who was in the area of Avenue Road, NW8, and saw anything suspicious to please come forward.
“Also, if you have seen this jewellery since, someone has offered to sell you it, or you have any further information, then please also contact the police or Crimestoppers anonymously.”
