Man City captain Kyle Walker enjoys an evening on the World Darts Championship – days after he failed to purchase Christmas items for his youngsters with Lauryn Goodman

Kyle Walker enjoyed a night at the World Darts Championships, just days after claims that he didn’t send Christmas presents this year to the two children he shares with ex Lauryn Goodman.

The Manchester City captain was pictured at Alexandra Palace on Monday night as the World Championships continued, with Luke Littler and Michael van Gerwen among the stars in action.

Walker spent the evening taking in the action amid a brief respite in Man City‘s hectic festive schedule.

The reigning Premier League champions had secured a 2-0 win over Leicester on Sunday, a result which has helped to arrest a dreadful run of form for Pep Guardiola‘s side.

Walker has endured a difficult run of form this season and the defender has come under fire with Man City lying in sixth place, 14 points behind leaders Liverpool.

The full back’s difficult season comes amid his wife and mother of their four children, Annie Kilner, filing for divorce in October, with the star reportedly fighting for half of his £27million fortune.

Kilner filing for divorce is the latest development of his home life, for which Walker has expressed remorse after fathering two children with Lauryn Goodman.

Their son was conceived while Walker – who had a string of misdemeanours during the pandemic, including hosting a sex party – was separated from Kilner. 

Their baby daughter was not and the recent trial regarding child support ended with Judge Edward Hess ordering the England international to pay Goodman £1.8m to purchase a property in Sussex, plus more than £100,000 in additional fees. 

Walker is paying £12,500 a month in child maintenance. Goodman was labelled of possessing ‘insatiable greed’ by a spokesperson for Walker, accused of using him as an ‘open-ended chequebook’.

The Man City captain seemingly hit back at Goodman amid claims he did not send Christmas presents to their two children.

While the footballer didn’t give Kairo or Kinara any presents, Kyle is committed to supporting them financially.

An insider told MailOnline: ‘Kyle’s never been involved in the kids’ celebrations and not brought gifts, except for a coat for Kairo a few years ago. 

‘The latest story seems like Lauryn using his name to stay in the spotlight.

‘Kyle and Annie just want to put all this behind them in 2025 and move on without the drama. They hope that Lauryn will do the same instead of goading them on social media.’

Meanwhile, a source close to Lauryn said: ‘Lauryn has been getting on with her life with the children making sure they are shielded even though it has been tough for them especially Kairo who asks for his daddy. 

‘It’s really sad that he isn’t stepping up for all of his children and you would’ve thought he learnt that lesson from not doing it the first time round.’

Walker has made 17 appearances for Man City so far this season, but has been singled out for criticism amid their below par campaign.

The full back had missed City’s Boxing Day draw against Everton, while he played only the final 20 minutes of the win against Leicester on Sunday.
