Melania breaks silence on Tesla Cybertruck explosion outdoors Trump Las Vegas resort

Melania Trump issued a statement on the Telsa Cybertruck explosion outside the president-elect’s Las Vegas property amid speculation it was an act of terror.

She urged the country to ‘strive for a future where peace prevails’ after two separate incidents just hours apart left at least 15 dead and dozens others injured.

Donald Trump has not yet weighed in on the explosion outside his property in Sin City, but his ally Elon Musk suggests it was a terrorist attack.

It comes just hours after a suspect plowed a truck through a crowd just after 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday in New Orleans. There are 15 confirmed dead.

In the Las Vegas incident Wednesday, an individual was killed and seven other injured when a Telsa Cybertruck exploded outside Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, according to city police.

The former and future first lady denounced the New Year’s Day violence in a post to X.

‘The incidents of violence that have impacted our communities are deeply concerning. The brutality must stop,’ Melania wrote.

‘My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the families who are experiencing such profound grief and loss.’

Footage was shared on social media of a Tesla Cybertruck exploding and bursting into flames outside the front doors of Trump’s Las Vegas, Nevada hotel.

Musk, a close buddy of Trump, said he thinks the explosion was an ‘act of terrorism,’ and said the Cybertruck was rented from Turo, which also rented out the truck involved in the New Orleans attack on New Year’s Day.

The $80,000 car made by Musk’s company Tesla was seen in a fiery blaze outside the front revolving doors of the Trump Hotel.

Trump’s middle son Eric, who serves as Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, wrote on X about the incident but did not classify it was terrorism.

‘Earlier today, a reported electric vehicle fire occurred in the porte cochère of Trump Las Vegas,’ Eric wrote.

‘The safety and well-being of our guests and staff remain our top priority. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Las Vegas Fire Department and local law enforcement for their swift response and professionalism.’

Many social media users said that the incident was meant to send a message to Trump and Musk.

The billionaire Tesla, X and SpaceX owner thinks that the explosion outside Trump’s hotel is somehow linked to the terror attack in New Orleans just hours earlier.

A truck plowed into a crowd celebrating New Year’s just after 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The suspect then got out of the vehicle and opened fire. At least 15 are confirmed dead.

The 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning was rented through Turo, a peer-to-peer online marketplace that allows customers to rent cars from other users.

Musk pointed out how the Tesla Cybertruck and Ford F-150 were both rented from the same vendor.

He insisted that the explosion was not caused by or related to the vehicle itself.
