New woe for Marcus Rashford as his funding agency is about to be STRUCK OFF, whereas Man United desperately attempt to promote him this month

  • Rashford has built an impressive business portfolio that makes him millions
  • The 27-year-old looks to be on his way out of Manchester United this month
  • LISTEN NOW: It’s All Kicking Off! New formation, some new faces, but the optimism has gone at Old Trafford

Marcus Rashford’s investment firm has been given a striking off notice by Companies House.

The Manchester United forward has endured a difficult few months on the pitch, losing his place in the squad before sitting down for a bombshell interview in which he claimed he was ready for a ‘new challenge’ away from his boyhood club.

The Red Devils are keen to offload the 27-year-old, who is one of the club’s highest earners, this month and links have been made to the likes of PSG, Juventus and Saudi Pro League clubs.

Off the pitch Rashford has built an impressive business portfolio which rakes in millions every year. In 2023, it was reported that Rashford’s companies earned in excess of £17million in the previous financial year.

At that point the income exceeded the £200,000 weekly wage he received from the Red Devils. But it appears that at least one of his firms could be set to dissolve after being given a striking off notice by Companies House.

Mucs Investments Limited will be struck off the register and dissolved ‘not less than two months’ from December 31 2024.

Football finance expert Kieran Maguire shared the opinion on X that it could be due to a late submission of documents.

The company reportedly held £292,227 in assets as of January 2022. By contrast, Rashford’s image rights company, Mucs Enterprises saw its assets increase from £11m to £20.1m that same year.

On Wednesday, Rashford denied claims that he’s held talks with a leading sports agency amid his ongoing struggles at Man United.

Prior to their loss against Newcastle, Rashford was left out of United’s squad for four games by Ruben Amorim, sparking much debate about the forward’s future.

According to The Sun, Rashford held talks with leading sports agency Stellar – the same agency helped land Gareth Bale’s stunning £86million move from Tottenham to Real Madrid back in 201 – in the hope of landing a move away from Old Trafford this month.

However, Rashford took to social media to deny the reports. In an Instagram post, he said: ‘Been a lot of false stories over the past few weeks but guys this is getting ridiculous – never met with any agency and don’t have any plans to’.

Rashford’s last appearance for United was on December 12 when he played 56 minutes against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League. The United star is currently represented by brother Dwaine Maynard.

Rashford, whose United contract runs until the summer of 2028, has made 426 appearances for the club and has scored 138 goals.

United are currently languishing in 14th place in the Premier League and are eager for an upturn in form.

Following the game against Newcastle, United will play league leaders Liverpool away on Sunday.
