BREAKING Prince William ‘shocked and saddened’ over loss of life of ex-nanny’s stepson

Prince William has expressed his condolences over the death of Edward Pettifer, his former nanny’s stepson who was killed in the New Orleans terror attack.

Edward was among the 14 people killed when a vehicle mowed down new year revelers on New Year’s Day. The Prince of Wales and Kate said they were “shocked and saddened” by the 31-year-old’s death.

Edward’s stepmum, Alexandra Pettifer nannied young Prince William and Prince Harry in the 1990s, when she was known as Tiggy Legge-Bourke.
