Britain’s most famous former prison guard who was banged for having sex with an inmate may have a lucrative career ahead of her, an adult site expert has said. Video footage of the prison cell romp featuring Linda De Sousa Abreu and convicted burglar Linton Weirich was shared widely on social media over the summer.

Senior staff at HMP Wandsworth, where the video was recorded, identified the 30-year-old guard in the footage before she was arrested at Heathrow Airport trying to board a flight to Madrid. De Sousa Abreu, who is married to the father of her child, initially claimed she only took part because inmates were threatening to expose her career as an amateur adult star.

She later took back her claims of coercion after they were labeled “entirely false” by prosecutor Eloise Marshall KC. It also emerged that De Sousa Abreu had been filmed on her own body-cam footage performing a sex act on the same inmate on a separate occasion.

Yesterday, the former prison officer was jailed for 15 months after admitting to misconduct in public office. However, the future may not be all doom and gloom for De Sousa Abreu as expert Charlie Golenbock estimates she could make a fortune upon her release.

The Only Fans consultant, who has been in business since 2020, told the Daily Star: “With that type of exposure she could push to over $100,000 (£80,000) a month pretty fast if social media outlets clip up the story. In terms of being strategic, if she had a team helping her, could be substantially more.

“If you clip these headlines and get them on Worldstar (the video aggregation website) etc… they will bring in substantial traffic.

“With help and virality, the skies the limit if the story hits all socials like Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, Youtube etc… [But it] really depends on how long it stays in the public eye. I wouldn’t say she’s a high demand model so it will probably fizzle out after it stops being reported on unless she had her own marketing.”

Charlie, who helps adult stars promote their own content, warned that short-term success is easy for performers who go viral but it is hard to stay relevant as the months roll by. He said: “The thing with Only Fans is it’s easy to have one or two good months but much harder to be successful over a long period of time.

“If I were her I would hit socials hard to stay relevant after she gets out and collaborate with celebrities. Guys need to see the media, google her, then get to her page if they aren’t seeing her on socials.”

He suggested De Sousa Abreu could “charge $19.99 per month for a subscription” and have a team working on the backend. “The primary factor is going to be virality of her release on social media”, he explained.

“The ‘curiosity’ factor is what gets guys to subscribe”, he said.

De Sousa Abreu had claimed in a pre-prepared statement to police that she was acting “under duress” in the video because inmates were threatening to expose her amateur adult performer career. She also claimed she was “terrified for my own safety” and feared being “raped or seriously assaulted”.

But prosecutor Eloise Marshall KC branded the account – which De Sousa Abreu later took back – as “entirely false”. She told the court the romp was “intentional and deliberate”, adding: “She undermined the authority of all prison staff.

She pleaded guilty to misconduct in public office in August last year at Isleworth Crown Court after claiming she had “found faith in God” and was sentenced yesterday.

The court was told she had previously had sex with Weirich in his cell before the widely-shared video tryst. In mitigation, Rajiv Menon, KC, defending, said De Sousa Abreu is “highly emotionally damaged” and has since been diagnosed with severe borderline personality disorder and ADHD.

He told the court suffered “marked trauma” and increasingly used sex to “feel positive emotions”.
