Police launch manhunt after armed burglars stage terrifying jewelry raid on house – as officers launch enchantment to seek out Land Rover seen close to the scene
Jewel thieves are being hunted by police after a ‘terrifying’ three-hour raid.
The armed burglars made off with a ‘considerable amount’ of valuables – including diamond rings, necklaces, and a watch – after arriving and fleeing in a Land Rover.
Thieves broke in through a broken window and conducted a three-hour search of the house in the early hours of the morning.
Detectives have issued pictures of the 4X4 car and some of the jewellery that was stolen in the break in as they try to trace the crooks.
North Wales Police said: ‘We are hoping to trace the vehicle in connection with an aggravated burglary in Llandudno.
‘In the early hours of Sunday, November 3rd, a house on Abbey Road, Llandudno was targeted by burglars between 12.41am and 3.33am, where a quantity of jewellery was stolen.
‘The items including diamond rings, two necklaces, a watch, a bracelet and costume jewellery are pictured below.’
Detective Constable Sean Harrison added: ‘This was a terrifying incident for the victim, and we are continuing to follow all lines of enquiry to ensure those responsible are caught.

‘We know at least two people approached the house at 12.41am and broke in through a window, where they stole a considerable amount of jewellery.
‘They were seen leaving the house at 3.33am in the direction of Abbey Place.
‘At 3.35am, CCTV footage shows the pictured vehicle, which appears to be a Land Rover, travelling past the victim’s home.
‘I am asking anyone who recognises this car, or anyone who thinks they might have seen it travelling in the area before or after the burglary, and has CCTV or dashcam footage, to contact us.
‘I am also appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident, or noticed anything suspicious at the time, to get in touch.’
