Cheryl ‘being terrorised by convicted killer’: Stalker ‘confirmed up at nation mansion star lives at with son Bear simply days after Liam Payne’s funeral’

Chery Tweedy has allegedly had to secretly endure being stalked by a convicted killer while grieving for her ex Liam Payne

Daniel Bannister, 49, was said to have become ‘fixated’ with the Girls Aloud star, 41, and even turned up at her and her seven-year-old son Bear’s mansion home.

He was jailed for four months in September, reported The Sun, given a three year restraining order and banned from entering Buckinghamshire.

But on December 10, just weeks after her ex Liam’s funeral, he reportedly turned up at her home again.

The newspaper says court documents show he has now admitted to three offences committed in that month and has been put behind bars on remand while he awaits sentencing.

He is due to be sentenced on January 30.

MailOnline has contacted Cheryl‘s representatives for comment.

Bannister was in 2012 jailed for two-and-a-half years for the manslaughter of his neighbour Rajendra Patel at a YMCA hostel in Croydon.

He savagely punched and kicked Patel as he was walking towards a lift, breaking his ankle and nose, and causing swelling to the left side of his face.

Patel died 15 days later of a pulmonary thromboembolism linked to the attack, reported Your Local Guardian.

Jailing him, Judge Nicholas Price said: ‘This is a tragic case. When you attacked Mr Patel you did not intend to cause serious bodily harm let alone cause death.

‘But the attack undoubtedly goes beyond one punch, it is a sustained attack or more or less 30 to 40 seconds.

‘It is clear you are not a danger to the public, but it is inevitable that you must serve an immediate custodial sentence.’

Cheryl reportedly increased her security in March 2023 after a stalker ordeal during her West End run in 2:22 A Ghost Story.

The nightly performances were reportedly blighted after ‘disgusting’ notes were left for her at the theatre.

Grieving Cheryl paid a heartbreaking tribute to One Direction star Liam after he fell 45ft to his death from a hotel balcony in Argentina in October

Her statement read: ‘As I try to navigate this earth shattering event, and work through my own grief at this indescribably painful time.

‘I’d like to kindly remind everyone that we have lost a human being.

‘Liam was not only a pop star and celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend and a father to our seven year old son.

‘A son that now has to face the reality of never seeing his father again.’

Liam was staying at the Casa Sur hotel in south America when he fell to his death after a drink-drug binge on October 16.

Yesterday, his medical cause of death was announced to be ‘polytrauma’, a term which means a person has multiple traumatic injuries to their body.

A hearing, which Buckinghamshire Coroner’s Court said was held on December 17, was told it may take ‘some time’ to ascertain exactly how the 31-year-old died.

Five people have been charged over Payne’s death in Argentina after he fell from a third-floor balcony of the Casa Sur Hotel.

The hotel’s manager, a receptionist and a friend of Payne have been charged with manslaughter, Argentina’s National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office previously said in a statement.

They are reported to be hotel manager Gilda Martin, receptionist Esteban Grassi and Payne’s friend Roger Nores. Two other people have been charged over the supply of drugs.

Nores is accused of manslaughter for having allegedly ‘abandoned him to his luck knowing that he was incapable of fending for himself and knowing that he [Liam] suffered from multiple addictions’, court documents show.

Two others, hotel employee Ezequiel Pereyra and waiter Braian Paiz, have been charged with supplying cocaine.

The inquest into Liam’s death in the UK has been adjourned until a pre-inquest review on November 6, the coroner’s court said.

Cheryl was praised by fans in November who were left in tears after she made her first TV appearance since Liam’s tragic death.

Cheryl joined her Girls Aloud bandmates Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, and Kimberley Walsh to promote their latest charity single tribute for Sarah Harding for Children In Need.

Fans hailed Cheryl for being ‘incredibly strong’ as they noted how she has ‘lost so many loved ones in such a short time’.
