Khloe Kardashian shared her furious response to Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass after the devastating wildfires forced her family to evacuate this week.
The TV personality, 40 – who recently reacted to an arson suspect in the Kenneth Fire which began on Thursday – uploaded a short video to her Instagram stories on Friday from a snippet of a Fox 11 LA segment.
During an interview with Gigi Graciette, L.A. Fire Chief Kristin Crowley stated that the mayor’s budget cuts for the LAFD affected the fire fight throughout Southern California.
Crowley said, ‘My message is the fire department needs to be properly funded. It’s not.’
In a caption added over the recording of the interview, Khloe wrote, ‘I stand with YOU Chief Crowley!!!!’
‘You spoke the truth and you had tears in your eyes because I can tell you didn’t want to say that but it was THE TRUTH!!!!’

Bass has faced backlash after cutting around $17.5 million from the fire department budget for this fiscal year just months before the catastrophic infernos began on Tuesday, per ABC 7.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar wrote on Instagram ‘City of LA you want everyone to evacuate yet you have complete gridlock and not one traffic cop on the roads helping.’
Sara Foster also shared, ‘We pay the highest taxes in California. Our fire hydrants were empty.’
‘Our vegetation was overgrown, brush not cleared. Our reservoirs were emptied by our governor because tribal leaders wanted to save fish.’
She then called for Bass to resign by adding, ‘Our fire department budget was cut by our mayor. But thank god drug addicts are getting their drug kits. RESIGN. Your far left policies have ruined our state. And also our party.’
James Woods – whose home was spared in the Palisades fire – also slammed Bass on social media.
