Senior government sources claim Dominic Cummings is behind Elon Musk’s incessant posting and strange obsession with UK politics and his constant jabs at Sir Keir Starmer

Dominic Cummings is allegedly behind Elon Musk’s bizarre UK political obsession and his relentless jabs at Sir Keir Starmer, according to senior government sources. Boris Johnson’s former communications tsar is apparently sliding into Musk’s DMs on WhatsApp, adding more misery to Starmer’s administration.

This comes as Cummings said back in 2023 that he is planning a new “StartUp Party” to shake up the dusty Westminster system. The source said that Cummings is encouraging Musk’s incessant social media posts calling for Starmer to be removed from office, and criticising the PM’s record on the grooming gangs scandal while he was Director of Public Prosecutions.

Many were confused at the timing of the Tesla billionaires’ posts, as they seem to not stop even overnight. Sources believe that Musk “must have a UK-based co-conspirator writing the posts for him,” further fuelling Labour’s suspicions of a Musk-Cummings coalition.

An ally of Musk told the Daily Mail: “It is 100% true that they [Musk and Cummings] are talking about smaller government and the end of the traditional party system.

“It is not just Elon, Dom is in constant contact with major Silicon Valley figures, who are becoming increasingly anti-woke.”

Cummings, the mastermind behind Vote Leave and Johnson’s 2019 election victory, famously resigned in disgrace after his legendary Barnard Castle trip. It was during this brief stint in Number 10 that he somehow managed to strike up a relationship with Musk.

The X owner used the platform to spark fury across the country and reignite the debate about the grooming gang scandals. He described Keir Starmer as “evil” and said he should be in prison.

He asked his followers whether America should “liberate” Britain from its “tyrannical government”.

It was revealed last week that the Home Office’s Homeland Security group, which is responsible for reducing national security risks, was monitoring Mr Musk’s posts.
