Man Utd difficulty one-word assertion after Arsenal win and followers could not agree extra

Manchester United have issued a one-word statement after their chaotic FA Cup third round clash with Arsenal.
The Red Devils, who were reduced to 10-men against Mikel Arteta’s side, survived an onslaught to beat the Gunners on penalties. Bruno Fernandes opened the score for Ruben Amorim’s side in the second-half, after being left frustrated he didn’t have the chance in the first.
Fernandes had his heels clipped by Gabriel Jesus in the first-half, leading to the Brazilian having to be stretchered off. And United’s anger at referee Andrew Madley was only compounded in the second half after Diogo Dalot was dismissed, before a controversial penalty was awarded to Arsenal when Harry Maguire was harshly ruled to have fouled Kai Havertz and a brawl broke out.
“Justice,” United’s official account posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, in the second half. And Red Devils fans were quick to agree.
“The official Manchester United Twitter feed claiming ‘Justice’ – what a club,” one fan joked. While a second responded: “They’ve pinned it too!”
“If there’s a justice in this world, you’d be playing in the Vanarama National,” an Arsenal fan fumed. And another added: “Never in my life did I think I’d see Man Utd acting like a non-league club both on and off the pitch…”
United had been a goal to the good when Dalot was dismissed for a second yellow card offence by Madley – a foul for his late sliding tackle on Mikel Merino. Arsenal were quick to equalise through Gabriel Magalhaes and then had a golden opportunity when they were awarded the penalty.
However, Martin Odegaard’s spot kick was batted away by Altay Bayindir – who put in a man of the match performance. Bayındır made more saves in extra time and then a crucial stop during the penalty shootout as Kai Havertz saw his spot-kick saved, allowing United to advance to the fourth round.
“I just want to help everyone at this great football club,” Bayindir said. “And make these fans happy. I want to keep working, and you have to be ready every second if you are a Manchester United player.
