Inmate who had intercourse with married jail officer ‘is attacked whereas holding child throughout a household go to’: Lag fell on tot and fractured three-month-old’s cranium
An inmate who filmed himself having sex with a married prison officer has reportedly been attacked while holding a baby during a family visit – fracturing the infant’s skull.
Linton Weirich, 36, was targeted by a fellow prisoner while holding his three-month-old child during a visit from his girlfriend at Swaleside Prison, The Sun first reported.
Weirich was moved to the jail following the sex tape scandal, which saw him romping with disgraced officer Linda De Sousa Abreu, 31, while in his cell.
After the video went viral on social media, De Sousa Abreu was jailed for 15 months earlier this month.
After the attack on December 18, both Weirich and the baby were rushed to hospital where the infant was found to have a fractured skull while the inmate also suffered head injuries.
Kent Police confirmed to MailOnline that a man was reportedly punched by another inmate in the visiting area, causing him to fall on top of the little baby he was holding.
A suspect has been identified but no arrests have yet been made.
The mother of the child was left distressed after witnessing the unexpected attack, a source told The Sun.

‘To see her child not responding and knocked out is terrifying,’ the source said.
Kent Police said in a statement: ‘Kent Police is investigating an allegation of assault at HMP Swaleside, which happened on 18 December 2024.
‘It is reported a prisoner was punched by another inmate in an area used for visitors. The victim sustained head injuries and fell onto a three-month-old baby he had been holding.
‘The baby suffered a fractured skull but has since been discharged from hospital. The suspect has been identified and an investigation is ongoing.’
South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed to The Sun that they attended an incident at the prison that day.
De Sousa Abreu appeared in court for sentencing this month, having admitted misconduct after the X-rated clip taken at Wandsworth Prison went viral on social media.
The footage showed a prison officer in uniform having sex with Weirich as her discarded radio constantly crackled with messages from colleagues.
De Sousa Abreu, originally from Brazil, is a married swinger and shares an eight-year-old daughter with her husband. She was arrested at Heathrow Airport while travelling with her father but denied trying to flee the country.

Wearing a grey pin-striped blazer over a white shirt, De Sousa Abreu was sentenced to 15 months in prison at Isleworth Crown Court, but will likely serve less than a third of the time behind bars.
Judge Martin Edmunds, KC, the Recorder of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, said De Sousa Abreu compromised her role as a prison officer, undermined discipline and put officers at increased risk.
De Sousa Abreu admitted to having sex with the same prisoner on another occasion, while she was also caught on her own body camera giving oral sex to him on the same day the original sex tape was filmed.
Weirich was jailed for four-and-a-half years at Kingston Crown Court last June for burglary after he stole £65,000 worth of valuables from a safe in a flat in Kensington.
De Sousa Abreu, who claimed she has ‘found faith in God’ since the incident, also has an OnlyFans account where she shares explicit content.
