Kit Harington STRANGLES Mark Wahlberg in new function as knife-wielding maniac as they shut down London’s historic Whitehall for motion packed bus-top brawl whereas filming The Family Plan 2
Mark Wahlberg, Kit Harington, and Michelle Monaghan shut down London’s Whitehall on Sunday as filming began for The Family Plan 2.
The actors were spotted shooting an intense action sequence on the top of a tinsel-decorated London bus for the sequel near Downing Street in London.
In the scene, former Game Of Thrones star Kit was seen throttling Mark before holding Michelle’s character at knifepoint.
Kit held a terrified Mark over the edge of the of the bus as they grappled on the top deck.
To accommodate the shoot, production secured permits to close sections of Whitehall, ensuring the safety of the cast, crew, and public.
The scenes were shot with famous London landmarks in view, including London’s Cenotaph.

The Family Plan 2 is the sequel to the popular action comedy, with Mark back as devoted family man Dan, who finds that his past as an assassin has come back to threaten the idyllic life he has created for himself.
Michelle reprises her role as Mark’s wife for the sequel whilst Kit joins in an undisclosed role.
This is the second time Michelle took on the role of Wahlberg’s wife. She previously played his spouse in the 2016 film Patriots Day, an action thriller about the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013.
Simon Cellan Jones will also return as director alongside David Coggeshall, the writer of the first movie, to pen the sequel which takes place during Christmas in Europe.
The synopsis teases that Mark’s character Dan has planned the perfect vacation for the Morgans, but his past continues to haunt them in unexpected ways.
The original movie was released in December 2023 to mostly negative reviews, but it proved to be a huge streaming success, premiering as the most-watched film on Apple TV+.

At one point during the shoot, smoke covered the actors on the top deck

Meanwhile, Mark has been busy helping those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires whilst thousands of miles away in the UK.
On Friday, the the 53-year-old actor took to his Instagram Story to reshare a post from his active lifestyle store, Municipal — which includes a coffee shop — spreading the information.
Located in Oceanside, California, the chain is giving away coffee, drinks, pastries and gear until further notice. The store is also opening up their lounge to those in need of charging stations and a safe space.
Wahlberg co-founded the clothing and athletic apparel chain alongside Harry Arnett and Stephen Levinson in 2019.
In 2022, Wahlberg made the decision to move his family from California to Nevada where they own a $15.6M mansion.
