Love Island All Stars ‘hit by fakery row’ simply hours forward of present launch after solid ‘plan storylines and coupling up in secret group chat’

Love Island All Stars has been hit by a fakery row just hours ahead of Monday’s much-anticipated launch.

Despite bosses attempts to keep the line-up secret, the latest singletons have reportedly been communicating via a secret group chat and planning possible storylines and pairings before entering the villa.

According to The Sun bombshell Ekin-Su Culculoglu’s pals contacted Scott Thomas, 36, to see if he’d be interested in coupling up.

A source told the publication: ‘Whilst bosses make an effort to keep the line-up secret, the degree of separation between these Islanders is wafer-thin so everyone knew who was heading in.

‘It naturally meant they were all chatting about it on Insta and then a casual group began where some of them talked about the show’.

‘It was all kept top secret but there’s been convos about who they fancy, what they might do in the villa and so on.’ 

MailOnline have contacted ITV and Ekin-Su Culculoglu reps for comment.

Ekin-Su is the first bombshell of the new series and she already arrived in the Cape Town villa, hours before the first episode airs on ITV2.

It’s thought her entrance will be teased to fans at the close of the first episode.

The Sun have reported Ekin-Su’s arrival will cause chaos in the villa as she is handed control by host Maya Jama for an explosive game. 

In December it was revealed that Ekin had become the first contestant to sign up to Love Island: All Stars as the series returns for the second year. 

The former Love Island winner, 30, scooped the £50,000 cash prize with ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti in 2022, however the pair split last January. 

She won over ITV2 viewers during her first appearance on the show where she and Davide, who famously accused Ekin of being a ‘liar’ and an ‘actress’, became known for their tempestuous romance.

After their bitter breakup in January 2024, Ekin starred on Celebrity Big Brother but was branded ‘fake’ by her housemates, with the reality star avoiding the show’s final following an ‘uncomfortable backlash.’

Ekin later admitted to being in ‘survival mode’ and said she was carrying a lot of ‘baggage’ because of her split from Davide, who was accused of being unfaithful during their relationship on multiple occasions.

But now, by returning to the show that made her name, Ekin hopes to be her own person again and finally find the right man to settle down with. 

A TV source told MailOnline: ‘Ekin-Su has been the number one priority for casting producers, they know fans would love to see her return to the villa.

‘She was so iconic during her first appearance on the show and now she’s single again at the perfect time.

‘The deal is agreed in principle, there’s still some details to sort out, but there’s huge hope she’s finally agreed to take a second chance at finding long-lasting love in front of the nation.

‘Ekin’s in her 30s now too, she really wants to meet someone genuine who she can settle down with and after seeing it happen for last year’s All Stars winners, she’s keeping her fingers crossed she can be next.’

Since her split from Davide, Ekin has been linked with TOWIE star James Argent and Married At First Sight contestant Georges Berthonneau.

Despite reports, Ekin has attempted to keep her romantic life private, denying her involvement with anyone on a long-term basis.

Speaking to MailOnline last month, she said: ‘I’m a hundred per cent single, and loving life… I’m thirty, flirty and thriving.

‘I can see who I want. I can date who I want, and it’s my private life, thank you very much.’

Over the summer it was reported that she was dating former World No3 tennis ace Grigor Dimitrov.
