Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas shares replace following being pregnant announcement

Cressida Bonas has shared a rare family home video with her husband just hours after confirming they are expecting their second child.

Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend took to Instagram at the weekend to share a heartwarming clip of her dachshund, Budgie, in her first social media post since revealing the news that she is pregnant.

In the sweet video, the 35-year-old shared a clip of her loving husband and sweet dog, Budgie, watching the hit BBC show, The Traitors, together.

Budgie, who first joined the family in 2021, can seen watching the TV closely with a blanket draped over his head to match the traitor outfits in the show.

She captioned the post: ‘Budgie’s favourite programme… #thetraitors.’

Cressida’s husband, Harry Wentworth-Stanley, can also be heard saying: ‘Are you a traitor Budgie?’ to which the pooch offers an adorable yawn before turning back to watch the show.

‘Budgie, reveal yourself, are you a faithful or are you a traitor,’ Harry said to the cosy looking pup.

Meanwhile, Cressida can be heard giggling while the popular BBC show plays in the background.

Commenters gushed over the sweet clip, with one calling the pup ‘A little ET’ while another joked ‘Important to be dressed correctly’.

Cressida, who is already a mother-of-one to baby Wilbur, two, recently revealed she and husband Harry are expecting their second child together.

Writing in The Spectator, Cressida revealed her pregnancy on Friday, sharing that she had used a frozen embryo after having ‘conceived through IVF the first time’ while noting how her second pregnancy was different from the first.

The actress, who married the property investor in 2020, wrote: ‘It is incredible that a tiny cluster of frozen cells, already a life, can survive, suspended in time for years.

Cressida also revealed that this has been a more difficult pregnancy, noting: ‘I’ve been battling morning sickness.

‘I’ve never had it before, and now feel like I’ve been swaying on a boat for months.’

As their family grows, Cressida continued, she and Harry are now seeking a bigger home.

‘Our flat is on the market and we are house hunting,’ she explained, adding the couple’s pet dachshund, Budgie, ‘is bound to be unimpressed’ by the house move.

In 2022, Cressida described how she felt as though ‘my body was failing me’ after facing difficulties in conceiving, and when a specialist told the couple ‘there was nothing fundamentally wrong’.

Writing in The Sunday Times, she said: ‘I spent time and money on reflexology, nutritionists, acupuncture and psychics…Even a German healer who speaks to angels. I heard nothing, not a squeak.

‘My mind was on a constant worry loop and my obsession with getting pregnant became overwhelming, No matter how many Mystic Megs I saw or expensive supplements I took, nothing was working, and I felt as if my body was failing me.’

Cressida admitted to ‘avoiding’ loved ones’ children’s parties due to feeling out of place around her friends who had kids, amid the struggle to have her own.

She went on to say that IVF firstly ‘frightened’ her due to having no ‘power’ over the final outcome.

Sadly, Cressida’s struggle to get pregnant is far from the only challenge she has faced in recent years.

On July 22, 2024, the actress’s half-sister, Pandora Cooper-Key, passed away at the age of 51 from cancer.

The mother-of-two was first diagnosed with the disease 24 years ago and had spent the past two decades battling different types of cancer.

Ten days after Pandora’s death, her family announced that she had died after the discovery of an inoperable brain tumour.

Cressida played a key role in a memorial service for Pandora that took place on Friday, September 19, 2024, paying an emotional tribute to her ‘darling sister’.

Accompanied by her two-year-old son and dog, Budgie, Cressida pushed his stroller while sipping on a hot drink from a takeaway cup as she walked through the west London neighbourhood.

Dressed for a chilly morning in London, Cressida wore a thick, black coat over a cream turtleneck sweater and charcoal-grey jeans.

Looking fresh-faced and radiant, Cressida opted for a no-makeup look while accessorising with a pair of slate blue fingerless gloves and a beanie worn over her blonde locks.
