Pep Guardiola was snapped wearing his wedding ring as Manchester City dropped more points on Tuesday evening.

Guardiola, according to reports from Spain, has split from his wife of ten years Cristina Serra. However, as City rocked up to the capital for their Premier League clash with Brentford, the Catalan was sporting his ring.

Ahead of the game reports had emerged that Guardiola had split from his wife – with a close pal telling the Daily Mail: “I think they have grown apart. She left Manchester about five years ago to return to Barcelona. That has taken its toll.

“He is a total workaholic and not being involved in their family fashion business together may have affected their relationship too.”

Quick to shut down any whispers of scandal, another confidante strongly dismissed any idea of either individual being unfaithful: “They have parted on friendly terms and I really don’t think there is someone else involved.”

“I think we didn’t make the right decisions when we could run, because for the way they play you can run… Our decisions were not the best that they could be,” Guardiola admitted.

“They put a lot of players in the box for the crosses, and they are stronger than us in that department for the absences that we have, and they equalised.

“Josko Gvardiol played incredible! I was satisfied! The same with Stefan Ortega; I said how good he played, the actions with the ball, the pass to Erling [Haaland], how happy and satisfied I am, especially with these two players and what they have done.”
