Joey Barton has taken to social media with an odd request for eco-activists Just Stop Oil to take action against controversial adult film star Bonnie Blue.

Just Stop Oil activists became headline news on Monday when they sprayed the grave of Charles Darwin at Westminster Abbey with chalk paint, leading to two arrests on suspicion of criminal damage. This spectacle was aimed at highlighting the climate crisis.

On the same dramatic day, Only Fans model Bonnie Blue claimed to have set a new world record by sleeping with 1,057 men in just 12 hours. This viral proclamation received both condemnation and horror in equal measure.

The incident did not escape the notice of ex-footballer turned social media provocateur Barton, who clumsily attempted to draw a comparison between two wildly disparate current issues. Barton took a swing at humour on platform X but ended up confusing his followers more than making a point, reports the Mirror.

In his hazy attempt to connect these unrelated events, the 42-year-old former Manchester City and Newcastle midfielder suggested on X: “Can Just Stop please spray paint this Bonnie Blue’s f**** orange. She’s just been flattened by over a 1000 degenerates for content.”

He added, scornfully: “That’s over a thousand johnnies all made of plastic! And a load of dirty b****** a***** going like a bees-wing, trying to shoot their bolt in the allotted 30 seconds.

“All of which contribute massively to the warming of the planet. Leave Charlie Darwin’s grave alone. It’s this dirty b**** you should be spraying.”

One of the Just Stop Oil protesters who ended up in cuffs was Di Bligh, 77, a past chief executive at Reading Council, who tried to justify her actions.

Two Just Stop Oil activists spray paint ‘1.5 Is Dead’ on the gravestone of Charles Darwin in Westminster Abbey on the 13th of January 2024, London, United Kingdom. Alyson Lee, 66, a retired teaching assistant from Derby and Di Bligh, 77, from Rode, wrote ‘1.5 Is Dead’ using chalk paint as a reference to the newly published figures stating that 2024 was the hottest year on record and exceeded the ‘safe’ 1.5 degree warming limit agreed by world leaders in Paris in 2015. She said: “We’ve done this because there’s no hope for the world, really. We’ve done it on Darwin’s grave specifically because he would be turning in that grave because of the sixth mass extinction taking place now.”

Switching gears to entirely unrelated news, TikTok sensation Bonnie Blue, legally known as Tia Billinger, disclosed to her followers how her attention-grabbing stunt paid off. She expressed her gratitude towards the “barely legal” participants and “all the husbands” who joined in.

She commented on her experience by saying she came out of the “marathon” feeling pretty normal: “It feels as if I’ve had a heavy day in the bedroom, which is exactly what I’ve had. I think if it continued how it did for the first three or four hours I would have struggled.”
