Woman’s terrifying encounter highlights the significance of all the time locking automobile doorways
WARNING – DISTRESSING CONTENT: A young woman was left in tears after a man tried to get into her car as she was waiting for it to defrost one morning, she was left shaking with fear
A West London woman has issued a warning to always lock your car doors after a terrifying encounter left her shaking with fear.
Jacklyn Pandolfo dropped a chilling TikTok vid urging everyone – “Ladies, please, and gentlemen, everyone in between, lock your car doors. Lock your car doors. As soon as you get in your car, lock your car door.”
This advice stems from her dad’s wisdom and turned out to be a lifesaver when she experienced a creepy episode on January 8, which she shared in her post, reports the Mirror.

She recounted how, after hopping into her motor and locking up pronto, she was chilling for a bit, allowing the car to defrost when things took a spooky turn. As Jacklyn clocked a bloke strolling up to the ride parked next-door, she had an inkling, knowing full well who owned it – and it wasn’t this chap.
“He walks over, he’s facing the other car, and then his body turns – I’m watching him – the body turns and I’m looking at my car to make sure it’s locked, I know it’s locked. He turns and starts yanking at my door, like yanking and pulling it a good four times.
“And at this point I’m like ‘huh’, I’m in shock. I look at him. He then comes down and looks at me, and yanks it one last time.” She recounted her confusion and asked him what he was up to, to which he stammered: “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
The lass was horrified as she described, “Guys, he had wires in his hand. And when I say wires, I mean wires like yellow wires that you tie people up with,” she revealed. In a state of panic, she tried to escape the bloke, attempting to manoeuvre out of the parking spot, but struggled due to her windscreen still being frosted over, not to mention the fella persistently tailing her in front of her motor.
“At this point I just panic and I start beeping really loud, I just beep, beep, beep, and shout ‘get the f**k out of my way, get out of my way’,” she exclaimed. Luckily, another resident peered out from their flat, causing the man to finally give way, allowing her to bolt down to the end of her street.
She pulled over, frantically trying to ring her mum and stepdad, but got no answer, so she rang her boyfriend, wondering what to do next, especially since her car was still not clear of ice and the man was approaching again. Ultimately, she drove off before ringing her mum once more to alert her about the stranger lurking outside their home.
She also made sure to report the incident to the police, providing a detailed description of the man to help protect others from a similar fright. The woman added: “But please, make sure you lock your cars.”
