OREO is dropping a bombshell on cookie lovers everywhere – the classic round biscuit is going square, and the internet’s buzzing with the news. As rumors stacked up online, OREO came clean, confirming the gossip is bang on – but not everyone can get their hands on this geometrical treat just yet.

Eager fans have been given a sneak peek thanks to some cheeky teases on OREO UK and Ireland’s Instagram, showing off the iconic OREO look but now with four smart corners.

A spokesperson said: “We love playfulness here at OREO so why not play with our iconic shape? We look forward to our fans seeing OREO from a new angle.

There’s heaps of speculation about what the square OREO means and where it’s headed, but you won’t find it in stores – for now, it’s strictly eyes only.
