Armed police have swarmed Plymouth tonight amid reports of a ‘serious assault’ in the city as cops warn locals to ‘stay away’.
Police and emergency services rushed to the scene in the West Hoe area at around 10pm.
Devon and Cornwall Police said a ‘serious assault’ has unfolded and officers remain at the scene.
A spokesperson said that locals are being warned to steer clear.
Posts on social media claim ‘more than 10 police cars’ are in the vicinity of West Hoe Road.
Videos show paramedics outside of The West Hoe Pub and one local said they saw someone being given CPR.
