Marcus Rashford is willing to take a wage cut to join Barcelona.
Rashford has set his heart on a move to the Spanish giants, despite interest from Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal and Napoli.
And if he can secure a loan move to the Nou Camp for the rest of the season, the England forward is willing to re-negotiate his salary if it helps secure a permanent move to Barca.
Rashford currently earns in excess of £300,000-a-week, with United willing to fund most of his wages in order to seal a loan deal to begin with.
Rashford admitted he could leave the Red Devils when speaking to Journalist Henry Winter: “For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings’.
“You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person. If I know that a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse. I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person.
“When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be from me.”
However, he also added he would “100 per cent” always be a Red Devil.
United, meanwhile, are leading the race for Arsenal starlet Ayden Heaven.
United want to sign the 18-year-old as they look to build for the future. Heaven is out of contract at the end of this season and is understood to have held initial talks with Old Trafford bosses.
Eintracht Frankfurt and Barcelona are among the others interested in signing Heaven, who has one first-team appearance to his name at Arsenal.
