Trucker ‘ten years youthful’ after ‘life-changing’ £7,000 Turkey tooth operation

A trucker went from refusing to smile because he was embarrassed about his teeth, the grinning non-stop following an operation to get some Turkey teeth for his gnashers

A trucker looks 10 years younger after having a £7,000 “Turkey teeth” operation.

Jeff Chilton started losing his gnashers 16 years ago and refused to smile. The 51-year-old had 10 of his teeth removed and was only able to eat soft food such as omelettes, pasta, cereal and cake.

But last year, dad-of-one Jeff splashed out £7,000 for a three-hour procedure to insert implants after wanting to set an example to his young daughter. And now every time he walks past a mirror, he has to do a double take.

Jeff, of Swindon, Wiltshire, said: “It’s taken 10 years off me. I was amazed when I saw them. I look so much younger.

“I’m not a vain person at all and I don’t spend all my time looking in the mirror but since I’ve had them done, every time I walk past a mirror I smile and look at my teeth.

“It’s been life changing.

Jeff added: “It’s not really about looking good but I wanted to be able to eat what I want. I can eat anything now.

“I haven’t had a steak for 20 years and I’ve recently had a fillet steak, cooked blue. I walk around with a big cheesy grin on my face.”

Last year, a bloke claimed he was sacked from his office job for phoning in sick over his tan and squandering 50 hours online searching “Turkey teeth” and “Simon Cowell’s botched botox.

Josh Williams said when he was dismissed from his role as a customer service administrator in July after only three months on the job, his bosses had printed out 50 hours of his internet search history.

The 26-year-old claims he was summoned to a meeting and criticised him for taking leave three times for “bloody daft” reasons such as using nasal tanners. Josh admitted his search history contained ‘daft stuff’ like ‘Simon Cowell botched botox’ and ‘Does turkey teeth hurt?’ as he was planning to get his done.

After blowing all his savings on his own Turkey teeth before being sacked, the TikToker decided to post a video explaining his dismissal to earn himself some much-needed dosh.

However, his videos shared “in the heat of the moment” after being dismissed “backfired” dramatically.

He claims he was turned down for three additional roles after potential new employers saw his videos online.

Josh from Bristol is now urging people to think before they post.

He said: “I was still on probationary period [in the job I was sacked from]. I had two or three sick days and the excuses I used were just bloody stupid excuses…

“It was just stupid stuff. About Simon Cowell botched Botox and stuff. It was quite embarrassing but I felt like because I had been sacked, I’m going to put it online.”
