Queen Maxima of the Netherlands steps out in an all pink ensemble as she attends monetary well being technique assembly

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands put on a dashing display in a head-to-toe pink ensemble during an outing in Wekerom today.

The royal, 53, was visiting the National Coalition of Financial Health at Woonzorgpark De Hartenberg.

It’s an environment that the mother-of-three is familiar with – given her background in the banking sector.

Between 1996 and 1998, Maxima worked for HSBC James Capel Inc. in New York, where she was Vice-President of Latin American Institutional Sales.

She later worked for Dresdner Kleinwort Benson as Vice-President of the Emerging Markets Division until July 1999, according to the Royal House of the Netherlands.

Maxima showed her typical love for eye-catching colours, opting for a pink ensemble, complete with a structured coat, flowing blouse, and wide-legged trousers.

She broke the colour theme of her outfit slightly with the addition of brown leather boots and matching handbag.

Once inside the event, Maxima attended a strategy meeting of the National Coalition of Financial Health, a coalition of some 50 government organisations and companies which are working towards improving their employees and customers’ financial health.

Promoting financial health is something the royal has been working on for more than 15 years.

In September last year, she was appointed as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health by UN Secretary-General António Guterres, marking the end of her 15 years as Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development. The position was described as ‘an extension of her financial inclusion work’.

Speaking at the time, UN Secretary-General António Guterres said of the appointment: ‘In a world of economic uncertainty, conflicts and climate upheaval, financial services are critical to help people control their lives and futures. As Special Advocate for Financial Health, Her Majesty Queen Máxima will build upon her vital work to ensure that financial systems can support the dreams, hopes and aspirations of people around the world.’

The Palace added: ‘Queen Máxima also promotes financial health in the Netherlands on behalf of Stichting SchuldenlabNL, the National Financial Health Coalition and the Money Wise Platform.

‘Her work focuses, among other things, on preventing financial problems through financial education, developing accessible savings options to establish a financial buffer, encouraging openness about financial problems, and identifying problem debt early on and using sustainable solutions to address it. Collaboration between financial service providers, policymakers and businesses is essential in this regard.’

Her stylish outing today comes after Maxima looked typically chic as she attended a training course in Houten last week.

She appeared to be in high spirits as she visited SVO Vakopleiding Food, a trade school that prepares students for careers in the food industry.

The class trains those who want jobs as butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers, and caterers, as well as people looking to enter the poultry, supermarket, and industrial food industries.

As aways, Maxima put her best fashion foot forward for the occasion, sporting an elegant ensemble comprising a khaki-coloured blouse, with irregular batwing sleeves, graphite-coloured, high-waisted trousers.

She opted for a pair of chocolate brown boots and finished her look with a charcoal-coloured Natan overcoat – a key fixture of Maxima’s chic wardrobe.

To accessorise, she chose large slate-coloured diamante earrings with black pearls, and matching silver diamond bracelets.

She also carried her classic Chanel quilted bag – which costs around £7,000 – that perfectly complemented her chic look.

She wore her blonde tresses up in a sophisticated low bun and went for a smoky makeup look, consisting of dark eyeshadow and pink lipstick.

However, she quickly tucked her hair inside a purple hairnet when she entered the facility, with Maxima appearing to take heed of the school’s health and safety regulations.

She also donned a white lab coat as she toured the facility, with the luxury handbag still slung over her shoulder.

While at the institute, Maxima stopped to chat with a class of students learning how to butcher meat.

She was also seen watching a man whip up burgers on a grill that was located outside the building. Maxima appeared to admire his culinary skills as she beamed while he expertly cooked the meat.

That appearance came nearly a week after Maxima attended a mental health charity event- when the royal, once again, wore green.

She cut a striking figure as she arrived at the Join Us Foundation, a charity focused on raising awareness about mental health, in the Dutch city of s-Hertogenbosc, on Thursday.

Maxima looked fabulous in forest green as she touched down in the city, with her ensemble consisting of a cashmere top and matching cardigan.

She added a stunning ombre maxi skirt, with a beige waist and rich green hem, to the trendy look.

Maxima wore her signature makeup look – including a dark smoky eye, fresh base and a plump pink lip – as she smiled and waved at onlookers before heading for the event.

To finish off her perfectly colour-coordinated look, Maxima added a pair of green drop earrings, a chic beige clutch bag and a matching set of boots in the same shade.

Despite the blustery winds, Maxima put on a brave smile as she made her way from inside the building in s-Hertogenbosc.

Once sheltered from the chill, the queen was pictured listening intently as she engaged in conversation with workers at the charity.

Join US works to help improve the mental health of young people by strengthening their social networks in a bid to combat loneliness.

Last October, Join Us was announced as one of three winners of the the Appeltje van Oranje 2024 prize, which honours innovative social initiatives and organisations making a difference within their communities.

The other two winners of the prestigious event were the Fundacion Movemiento ta Bida, which organises physical activities to keep people over 60 active, and the Foundation Al Amal, a charity which supports humanitarian needs across multiple countries.
