Stephen Miller Tries To Flummox Jake Tapper With Infuriating Spin Tactics

Donald Trump adviser Stephen Miller on Tuesday orchestrated a silly gotcha attempt on CNN host Jake Tapper that failed miserably. (Watch the video below.)
The two were arguing over the president’s freeze on federal funding ― a possibly unconstitutional move that was blocked temporarily by a judge.

Trump had attempted to halt billions in government spending for schools, states and organizations to conduct ideological reviews of the programs presumably to root them out if they are perceived as liberal.
“Overwhelmingly, the career federal service in this country is far-left, left-wing,” said Miller, Trump’s deputy chief of staff.
“I don’t know that to be a fact,” Tapper said.
“Well, I’ll give you a great example,” Miller replied. “We looked at [the U.S. Agency for International Development] as an example. Ninety-eight percent of the workforce either donated to Kamala Harris or another left-wing candidate. Just as an example.” Miller didn’t offer proof of his claim.

Said Tapper: “OK, but demonizing an entire workforce as having a … ”
That’s when Miller falsely and cynically tried to twist the exchange into a faux pax on Tapper’s part.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Did you just say that saying someone voted for Kamala Harris is demonizing them?” Miller said with a laugh.
“No, your suggestion is that there is a bias,” Tapper said.
“But you used the word demonizing,” Miller said. “You just said that I’m demonizing somebody by saying they voted for Kamala Harris.”

“Let’s get back on track,” a frustrated Tapper pleaded.
“I am on track,” Miller shot back.
