Men are looking to take control of their lives in 2025 – use this tool to help you get started
A recent study suggests that men are keen to take control of their lives this year, with a focus on enhancing their physical and mental wellbeing and boosting their happiness levels.
A survey of 1,000 men revealed that 43% are longing for a greater sense of purpose in their everyday routine, while nearly half confessed they often find it hard to tell one day from another.
Six out of ten men frequently feel like they’re not living their lives to the fullest, with 34% feeling they’re missing out on doing what they love and increasingly feeling swamped by the pressures of everyday life.
Over a third reckon they often waste time on activities that don’t ‘add value’ to their lives. However, money woes, lack of motivation and time constraints have made it difficult to make changes.
Nine out of ten men are already taking steps to make changes happen. For 36%, they’re clocking more hours outdoors to reconnect with nature, while 31% are striking a better work/life balance. Others are working on maintaining a balanced diet and picking up new skills.

The research was commissioned by Vitabiotics Wellman, who’ve teamed up with transformation coach, David James Seed, to dish out some advice to help men feel more in control of their lives.
“The culture around us keeps many stuck in their heads, caught in emotions, and disconnected from the present moment,” David commented.

He detailed how active mediation breathwork can be a game-changer in controlling your nervous system and soothing the mind, shifting you from stress to clarity.
He further added that fuelling your body with wholesome, nutrient-packed foods bolsters this process, laying the groundwork for overall well-being.
