Woman ‘ordered’ Rottweiler to maul lady, 9, after ‘I’m fixin’ to kill her’ menace
WARNING, DISTRESSING CONTENT: Tyshael Martin was charged with first-degree murder and could face the death penalty after allegedly ordering her Rottweiler to attack Jamaria Sessions, aged nine
A woman has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder after allegedly commanding her Rottweiler to kill a nine-year-old girl. In chilling recorded evidence, Tyshael Martin, 34, is heard apparently threatening to kill Jamaria Sessions, nine: “I’m fixin’ to kill her.”
Authorities found Jamaria dead the next day with her body bearing evidence of horrific violence, featuring bite marks, burns, lacerations and contusions. LoJuan Sessions, Jamaria’s father aged 27, faces charges of aggravated manslaughter for alleged neglect in protecting his daughter from his girlfriend, Martin.
Martin, who may potentially face the death penalty, maintained to police: “I didn’t murder her”. A recent police interrogation video revealed an unflustered Martin renouncing her previous statements contesting them to be nothing but intimidation tactics.
She stood firm against the murder charge, asking officers: “Why am I being charged with premeditated murder”. Police linked the charges to her inciting comments during the tragically decisive moments for Jamaria, reports the Mirror .
Martin claimed her remarks were only intended to “scare” the kid, but the officer fired back: “Scare tactics was also premeditation.”
The officer recounted the horrific array of injuries Jamaria had endured leading up to her death. In a chilling account, he described how she suffered beatings, came to have broken teeth, and may have sustained a dog bite at the back of her head emphasising that the girl had been deprived of adequate food and water.

Martin suggested that Jamaria’s broken teeth resulted from a fall on a treadmill, and she said that her boyfriend bore the blame for the child’s death. She said: “I just, I mean, when you say accountable, I feel like I probably could have done more to, you know, possibly prevent things from happening.”
Authorities uncovered more than 3,000 harrowing videos on the household’s CCTV, revealing the girl’s unimaginable torment, including burns and other wounds predating the alleged canine attack.
The footage showed the moment Martin unleashed the big dog on the young girl during an incident on June 16. The following morning, after a call from paramedics, Lake County deputies arrived at the scene to find Jamaria’s unresponsive and lifeless body in her bed.
Shocking details from court documents emerged, painting a grim picture of the extensive injuries inflicted on the child, with descriptions of “a significant number of abrasions, small punctures, burns, possible bite marks, and bruising covering her body, all in various stages of healing.”
