Birmingham star stretchered off after horror harm leaves him requiring fuel and air

Birmingham City star Marc Leonard required gas and air as he was stretchered off against Newcastle United with a horror injury.

The 23-year-old midfielder was caught on the knee by Newcastle midfielder Lewis Miley after he slid in to make a challenge.

Miley’s studs landed on Leonard’s knee with full force, seeing the Blues man immediately wave his arm in the air frantically to receive treatment.

Play was soon stopped as medical teams tended to him, eventually seeing gas and air administered to him before he was stretchered off several minutes later
