Luke Littler admits he’d reasonably watch himself again on EAFC than tune into Netflix
EXCLUSIVE Luke Littler has admitted to Daily Star Sport he would rather watch himself back on EAFC game mode Pro Clubs than tune into Netflix
Luke Littler is a Littler obsessed with himself.
The Nuke, 18, admitted he’s not a TV person when out on the road and instead watches himself back on Pro Clubs.
“I don’t watch the telly – I’m just a YouTube or a TikTok guy,” he told Daily Star Sport when promoting Specsavers Best Worst Team campaign: “I usually watch the Sidemen.
“Sometimes, I watch us back on Pro Clubs, me and AngryGinge!”
Pro Clubs is a game mode on EA Sports’ FC25 that allows players to create a virtual character and play with team-mates against other teams online.
Littler is part of ‘Girth N Turf’, a team that has also seen Wayne Rooney and British rapper Aitch play on the virtual platform.
The Nuke has proved he’s a man of many talents, winning the World Darts Championship last month, and that extends to not cringing at his own voice: “Not really. Because it is very funny!”
Littler and AngryGinge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, have formed a close friendship since the Nuke’s meteoric rise to the top of darts in the last 12 months.
And he was in the player’s section to see Littler lift the Sid Waddell Trophy as he dismantled Michael van Gerwen and became world champion in January.
Despite being a millionaire at the tender age of 18, Littler loves to unwind on his Xbox: “It’s just a case of being at home. The Xbox, It’s always going to be there!
“So there’s always time to chill out and to come home and see my friends… FIFA [now EAFC 25] is my favourite game because I’m live-streaming now. So people can watch it!”
However, he might not have much time to watch himself back on the road, admitting it can be a case of the hotel to the venue and back to the hotel.
He said: “Usually it’s hotel, food, and then you’re off to the venue to play darts. The schedule is tight! So I just want to be in bed all day, but when we go out, we go and have a look around!”
However, he wouldn’t change a thing: “I enjoyed it all! It was a new experience for me!
“So this year, I know what’s coming, but I always say the best place is Berlin for the Premier League of Darts. And visiting New York!”
